1. I made a mistake and rented a van on the wrong day, I realized it after driving literally around the block and came back quickly. The manager was very gruff and would not give me a store credit for $24.02. I will call corporate. Contract no. 82367402 2. Why do I have to do the walk-around myself when I rent a vehicle? You guys are just standing around watching and doing nothing, why can't you guys do it? I don't always catch a preexisting dent or ding.

Booked reservation online, received confirmation, received a second confirmation via email day before. Showed up—they didn't have our reservation! “No truck” -then somehow we got a truck but had to return it to that location by 7pm so they could resell it the next day. Had to shift our plans on moving day. Very chaotic and unorganized.

They gave me a truck that was on empty and asked me to fill it and they would give me a credit... the credit didn't cover the gas it took to fill it to where they wanted. And i couldn't believe i drove off the lot in a 26' empty truck. Bad business.

The gentleman at the counter there were two it was the guy on the left hand side if you were facing the counter as a customer. On 10/18 at the Tigard location. I signed up for the mobile pick up drop off but during the move I had packed my charger and my phone was going to die and he refused to look up my reservation and told me I should have prepared better. This is my 4th time using this uhual at this location and I have never had any problems until this time. Thankfully my friend who drove me there phone was charged I was able to use her phone. Also not a huge deal but my truck that I was supposed to used had 4 trucks parked in front of it and the same rude guy as before didn't believe me until “he saw it for himself”

Two challenges - both related to online checkin. Requested and received confirmation for an 8:00 pick up. Went to the location and started the online check in - told i had to speak to an agent and facility doesn't open until 9:00. Did online checkin to avoid contact - but had to go inside. Defeats the purpose.

Change your policy on fuel refilling! The current policy of renting a truck with the tank partially full, and then giving users a recommended amount of fuel to add to get it back to the same level is a SCAM! Your estimates are way off, and result in a truck that is rented with 7/8 tank getting returned with a full tank - at the cost to the customer. 1/8 of a 40 gallon tank is 5 gallons, which at todays gas prices is $10 to $15 that you are scamming from your customers with this policy (and your estimates). You should just rent the trucks with a full tank, and have them returned with a full tank, like normal car rental agencies. Or make your estimates more accurate.
