Everything was great except the latch on the truck was frozen shut when we got it back to our apartment to move. We don't own a vehicle so we had no de-icer and had to figure out a way to open/close it though it continued to freeze regardless. We understand it was very cold, but it was frustrating for us as we tried to move.

The staff of All Canadian Self-Storage were beyond words of incredible and amazing. They were very helpful from the beginning, especially Natalie and Maria. We wanted to book a one-way 9" van from Toronto to Montreal but nothing was showing up on their system but Natalie searched everywhere and luckily found us one. Maria was so accommodating when we were doing the booking; gave us all the instructions and tips we needed. Overall, we highly recommend them as they always go the extra mile and would definitely use U-Haul again.

I was provided a truck that had bald summer tires despite the fact they were aware i was leaving the city in snow. This resulted in the truck getting stuck for several hours. Additionally, the truck did not have any windshield washer fluid which made visibility very difficult and resulted in unsafe driving conditions.

The first truck I had received had one of its side mirrors missing, this is something that should have been checked before the truck was given to me. Although the ladies at the store were great and gave me a new truck, which unfortunately was a little low on gas and needed to be filled before we could make the trip to our drop off location. I was overall pleased with the experience.

One thing I found difficult was determining how much gas to put in the truck. I only went 12 miles and put it over 5.5 litres and yet was charged for an additional 6.5 litres when I got the final bill. The system of reading the gas gage (not accurate) and figuring this out is a bit of a hassle for the customer. Added to that, I was given the truck with just over 1/4 of a tank and if it had been returned below that I'd have been charged an extra $30. Why not provide everyone a full tank of gas?

Staff is very friendly & try to get you what you need, & when you need it. Good extras should you need other things like boxes,dollies, blankets etc. Have used them a lot in the last couple of months,

I was on hold for over 40 minutes with customer service because I needed to make sure the equipment was there for me because I was running less than half and hour late and was willing for that time to count into the time I booked it for, but just wanted to make sure the truck was there. All that just to be told it's good I called because no such truck is there, be transferred to someone else and have the line get disconnected. I had to call 2 more times and kept being given different information regarding my situation and no one could help me resolve it. I spent so much time speaking with customer support just to be told my equipment is unavailable. So I just went to the location and saw at least 3 10" trucks on the lot. The location itself was good, but there was no good customer support who would be able to help me out. Very stressful experience overall!

I’ve booked a van truck for 8:30 am on a Saturday but the location hadn’t put the vehicle set for keyless entry so not only I was under the rain and cold but I had to take a cab to go to another location after 3 hours from booking original time!!!

I rented a 9' cargo van. I opted for the self checkout. When I got to the location I wasn't able to find my van. Turned out the ID code located on the vehicle was different than code listed on my mobile device. In regard to the vehicle. My vans taillights were out. Which meant I had no break lights or rear blinkers. Not fun for in city driving during a snow fall like we had todag. I would think that these things would be inspected before leaving out the vehicle for self checkout.

I've already sent an email to customer care the day after our rental and never got any response. So I will leave a brief comment here. This was the worse Uhaul experience I've ever had. The vehicle was super dirty which resulted in all of our boxes and furniture to get dirty on the bottom and cleaning after the move was horrible because of this. There was gravol like dirt and pieces of small chipped wood all over the vehicle. The back door to the container also was not closing properly and we had a lot of trouble with it. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER during a hectic move for us in the cold (always struggling with the door).

Do not incorrectly charge the fuel fee. I filled up to the exact mark as received, but was still charged a $7 fee. Very disappointed. If such claims are going to me made by your franchises, then vehicles returned during business hours should be checked on the spot to confirm the condition of the vehicle and fuel level. I rent from Avis, Discount, and Enterprise for business regularly and have never had this happen. Never. I am unlikely to use UHaul from this or other locations in the future.

Can all vans have the option to automatically adjust mirrors? Our model was very bare boned had to manually do it..price and aervjce are great, just an annoying feature.

Manager needs to train employees about computer entry as initial clerk was not informed and made several mistakes. However, all corrected by Manager.

I was charged $15 insurance. I was not asked but I'm pretty sure I mentioned it to booking agent that I decline insurance. I have insurance through my own vehicle and my credit card so purchasing more insurance is waste of money and frankly pisses me off
