Poor customer service.



I had extremely rude experience with a representative at this location. Lisa phone and asked why the truck wasn't returned by9 am. The call arrive at 9:30.She was ignorant on the message. Maybe she opened her eyes and seen the truck was parked in the secured location before 9 am. After she noticed her mistake, she didn't have the decency to phone and apologize for her rude and ignorant message. She needs to be retrained or something else. I'm totally dissatisfaction with my experience with the whole experience... Thanks Angelo...

Three basic things a rental company should ALWAYS check... BEFORE you give a vehicle to a customer: windshield wipers working, brakes working, latch and back door working. The cables for the sliding back door did NOT work. Waited 1.5 hours for roadside assistance and another hour to fix problem. I called uhaul to see if I could change vehicles and they said I had to talk to location where I picked up vehicle...I called location and they said they were only a storage facility and only rented uhaul vehicles! Customer service on both sides gave me the run around while I waited for 2.5 hours. Very disappointing!

There should be like before a place where customers can leave their cars when taking the u hauls, now I have to have someone drive me from and to the location in order to pick up a truck , I was told to park on the street, that's not right.



The staff are rude and like robots. They will talk fast but they wouldnt listen. Evette is so rude, not aprroachable and very inconsiderate.

Absolute disaster. Online check in did not work. Spoke to regional manager directly on phone and she told me I would receive a discount. The discount was not applied. Complete disregard for customer. Nobody was helpful in resolving the issue with the check in. Took over 1.5 hours to get my reservation for the day. Disgusted by uhaul service.

I wasted time because I had requested the location on chesswood and then it was changed to yorkdale by email. I don't understand why the website let me book at chesswood, but then it was changed....

I had a very poor U-Haul experience. I've moved with U-Haul before and always accept the higher price on account of the customer services and reliability. Unfortunately this time both were lacking. First off I was relocated to a location MUCH further from my original request. I found out in the afternoon from U-Haul and had to scramble to find someone with a car and to leave work on time to get there during traffic. At the pick up location the male customer service representative was rude. On the phone said he'll close the store and not wait for me an extra 2 mins even though I'm in traffic. I suspect he wanted to get out early for the long weekend. The truck was NOT the same size I ordered. The U-Haul rep failed to tell me this before I paid. The website says U-Haul gives 50$ if your truck is not available. This never happened. I mentioned I was uncomfortable driving something that size truck once I saw it and I'd like the one I ordered - the smaller one. I was basically told there is no chance of exchanging and was wished luck on my moving trip. I called customer service to try to exchange it and was put on hold for a long time. I was told they'll find a way to exchange it but the line cut. I called back and the same thing happened but this time I requested a call back if the line cuts and no one called back when it cut. Unfortunately after being a U-Haul customer for years I will have to go with other companies now.

This location was amazing. However, I know it was a busy time for Uhaul but I'm a little disappointed that my original reservation was cancelled and Uhaul didn't do anything about it. Really messed up my plans. Otherwise, good experience

The customer service on the phone was horrible. I was sent a text with a drop off location which is miles from my home. When I called the number on the contract to make a change it turned out to be a BC location which is closed on Sundays. From there I was given five(5) other 800 numbers and spent a total of 58 minutes on hold. I hope my calls were recorded and are used as training of how not to treat customers. Shame on UHaul.
