How U-Haul Reviews WorkU-haul rentals are no longer affordable for a festival vendor. Daily rental charge, plus the per mile fee, gas cost, and the generous and unexplained 'environmental fee'.... The audacity of U-haul and the State of CA charging me for the air/atmosphere, when did they acquire Mother Nature again? It's also a huge inconvenience with all the photo proofs you need to take and submit, and gas refill stop. I will invest in a used van starting 2027. U-haul is absolutely not worth it these days.

WENDI CDisappointed that I needed a one way trip of no more than 24 hr rental but was forced to pay a minimum 2 day charge. Not sure I will use again.
