I was disappointed this time in that they indicated it was full and i only drove 32.3 miles, yet it took 12.26 gallons to fill it up. Also the fuel guage acted funny. I think your truck gets better than .38 mile per gallon

When I entered the store today after arranging my van pickup for today, I inquired about changing from a van rental that was going to cost me over $100 to pick up a desk that I only paid $100 for to a small trailer rental, I was told that it was "too late" to do so. I tried to speak to the gentleman about changing over, since my card was just being "held" for pickup. He had begun to help his fellow associate with some technical issue on his PC that he couldn't overcome and was incorrigable about, and ignored me completely. When I asked him to assist me in changing to a trailer, he, obviously aggravated and disturbed pounded hastily through what I thought was a modification to my original setup, but turned out to be his shoving a contract in front of my face hurriedly, calling someone to obviously deliver the van I didn't want, and walked back to help his associate, who was still moaning about his computer problem VERY publicly. I own a window cleaning business anf am very booked, so, since I was being COMPLETELY IGNORED, left in disgust to pick up my desk and get back to work. I called customer service on the way, and they politely told me that I could have easily changed to a trailer, and to talk with the manager when I returned the vehicle. The return story is as sad as the rental tale. Poor, poor, quality service, disgruntled employees arguing with one another in front of clients, and no one even making eye contact or talking to me or any other customer. It was like an invisible wall of disgust and disdain was hovering above the counter between them and us, your guests and source of income. I am disgusted, upset, frazzled, and out over $100 when I could have spent $19.99 plus tax. I need a manager to contact me immediately. I refuse to support this payment, and will take further steps without hesitation. Customer service is key, friends. Your 51st and Mingo store needs immense amounts of training and/or a refreshed staff. I expect a call within 48 hours maximum. Stuart D. Manning 918.565.0730

Normally I have amazing service at this location but I am assuming it is a lack of training. I picking up my uhaul expecting everything to go smoothly. The uhaul was dinged up, the gas wasn't at where they stated it should be at (we put on the paper what the gas was at) and worst of all I was charged a 75 dollar deposit and the gentlemen didn't tell me I was to pay any type of deposit which put me behind on my move.

Would be nice if they didn't just give you the keys without telling you all the ins and outs of the Uhaul van and car hook up. It was almost implied that I was on my own with the equipment that I signed a contract for. Things they truly forgot to inform me about was: ·When the car is hooked up to the Uhaul van, it can only go up to 55mph. ·Going in reverse can cause damage to possibly both the Uhaul and the car hooked up to it. Another problem is that when I called to get this whole Uhaul ordered they only gave me SOMEWHAT of the subtotal without mentioning that it was just a subtotal. Just crazy.........

also used the downtown Tulsa location on Archer street - we had an issue with towing a trailer with my vehicle, and they were very helpful in getting me into a truck at another location instead. Both folks there were extremely good - I would recommend that location too

Transmission light was on in the truck when we picked it up and stayed on the whole time. Dashboard and controls were sticky, looked like a soda spill. Half of the furniture pads we rented were soaking wet and unusable. However, staff is always very friendly and has always taken good care of us during moves. Gave us a partial refund on the furniture pads and we were perfectly happy with that. Seems like other issues are related to how busy this location is, and everything worked perfectly for us anyway. We will continue using this location every time we move. Thanks!!

The right taillight was burned out, but we didn't notice until it was loaded and we were leaving town. We had a 1400+ mile trip ahead as we were relocating out of state. The 26 foot truck began to give us difficulty by the second or third fueling stop. It would not start after refueling for 10-20 minutes. By the time we were about three hours short of our destination, in another state, while we refueled for the final time it would not start. We had notified U Haul several times about the situation, but now it was a real problem. We spent 30+ minutes attempting to start it, another 90 minutes waiting for the roadside service person, nearly an additional hour for him to assess the truck and communicate back and forth, because U Haul wasn't certain who they wanted to tow the truck and where. We had to drive away from our household goods with the key under the mat, as the gas station in the middle of no where off the freeway was closing, and over three hours short of our destination in another state. We were given an option of staying at a hotel in the next town, but we declined because we had already set reservations at our destination (we arrived at 0200),and two of the adults had a total of three important job interviews that morning. The husband/father secured a job (praise God), and had to leave the following morning at 0430 to drive 4 hours one way. His position required he work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. We requested that the truck be driven to our destination, but was denied a couple times. We finally, after ten days, had to leave the comfort of the motel, due to financial necessity, and go to our new residence with no beds or cookware. We were able to speak to the mechanic who had the truck and make arrangements to get the truck on a Sunday(when they're closed), because that's the only day the husband/father had a day off. It took two weeks for us to have access to our belongings. We have done several different complaint filings for compensation, to no avail. U Haul apparently does not feel any obligation for us staying twice as long in a motel, then having to be at our new residence for an additional four days without our household goods( having to purchase blowup mattresses, and bedding, etc.), and finally having to travel a five hour trip to retrieve the truck wbich cost us a full tank of gas($65) for our vehicle. In not merely disappointed in this whole experience, as I have been in the past..... I'm outraged!!!
