The only issue I had with this rental is that I originally reserved a 17" and due to last minute unavailability on UHaul's end, I got a 15" truck for the price of the 17". The rental price was not reduced. Thanks

When the door would go up the latch kept getting stuck up in the truck and you would have to unstick it to close the door. I told the rep at the desk that there was an error on p/u mileage and the other rep corrected it in writing on the ticket and initialed it. I asked him if I could have the completed ticket when I left..He stormed out and pulled the truck around fast and was rude when he came back in. He started throwing away my original copies from check out asked for them back. He handed them to me with attitude.

As I had already stated in previous comments the only problem I encountered was the rude man at U-Haul at the blue ridge location. I believe his name was Steve although I may be wrong on that name. I just have never been treated so poorly. He was a jerk in my book and I don't believe I did a thing to cause that reaction. I tried to ensure I would have tow dolly and I tried to get blankets with much difficulty. Not at all the service that should have been provided. I will say that the 800 number was excellent in making sure my needs got taken care of. Very helpful the 800 number.

Windshield was filthy with bugs splats. We loaded the truck and the next morning as we were ready to leave town we noticed a tire nearly flat. Drove to QT to fill it and tried calling Uhaul roadside assistance to see what to do, but gave up after 15 minutes on hold. Continued on our way without further incident, luckily.

I arrived to return my rental of an appliance dolly at 7:01 pm on the same day as rental, just to drop off the equipment. The young man behind the counter yelled "We're closed" at didn't even attempt to see if he could help me and completely ignored my presence. I could understand if I was there to try to rent something, he could have checked to see what I needed and explained that no rentals could be conducted after 7:00. What if I had been trying to tell him there was a fire or something, just saying. I'm also pretty sure that the door was locked prior to 7:00 pm and he was just in a hurry to get out of there. Thankfully a young man, walking back to the front from storage units was kind enough to help me and accept my drop-off. Maybe I expect to much, but this is called "Customer Service." I don't think it should end at the stroke of a moment on the clock!

I was advised to review the fuel tool and to add gasoline based on where the indicator was, I added 4 gallons because the indicator was at that point. THe fuel needle did not appear to correct and was charged an additional 7 gallons. so I was charged 11 gallons for a 31 mile drive. Either something fraudulent is happening or this truck uses more fuel than my Abrams Tank

We reserved 2 furmitre dollys and was only given 1. When I got in the truck there was cigarette ashes in the seat and ash try and no gas.

How about having the equipment at the location I chose in the first place. I had to drive an extra 40 miles to pick up this equipment at MY expense in mileage fees and fuel costs. This is the second time I have had to rent equipment from a distant location.

I totally messed up the didn't bring the truck back when I was supposed to (on accident) and had to add days to my contract and probably caused some unease, but Dave (I think was his name) was very patient and flexible. Further, the young lady with the red hair at the service desk when I picked the truck up was amazing. It was actually one of the best costumer service experiences I have had in a long time. Didn't have the truck I ordered online (17') that could be dropped off at another site. Desk personnel were inconsistent: the young lady was friendly but not helpful, the young man was knowledgeable. Added a $42 charge without permission but I caught it before the credit card was run. It was for insurance but called by another name. They asked if I wanted insurance and I said no...then they added it under a different name. that is deceitful.
