When setting up on line I was given the option to have a pickup time of 11:30, but down the list of questions 12:00 was the only time offered. I was picking up during my lunch and it made it hard to get back to work on time.

We left a clean truck and then they charged us $25 for cleaning. We cleaned the truck before we left it. Then I called to get the $25 back and got 3 people that said they would get someone from that location to call me but they never called

It was very hot at that location. No AC and I had my 2 boys with me. The 2 man that were in there were ok in customer service skills(some chatting between them while they waited for my receipt to print). My checkout was almost as in and out just because I tried to fill out the information needed on-line.

All went well except for the lack of information on the return of the truck to a different location. The time was set for the return to be on a Sunday when the return location was closed. We had to go through hoops that took much of our time in order to get the drop off finalized. The information was not even mentioned to let us know the possible issue of drop off on a Sunday in Columbus, MS. The whole rental event was difficult, but especially the drop off.

When I went to pickup I ask for a 7:30 am pickup and store didn't open til 8:00 am and then look and 15 minutes for computer to come up so I was 45 minutes behind but other then that the service was great and understanding. Oh I was double charged but when I went back they took it off.

Your truck needs to be check regularly. On my experienced today, it's very upsetting and discouraging particularly on the passenger side mirror. Before i drove in the road, it was set according to my sight. As i drove along, the side mirror moved until i can't see the road. That's dangerous & i could have a wreck. It was hard for me to change lane because i didn't saw anything what's going on behind me . I tried to explain to your male receptionist about it but he didn't understand & keep arguing witb me that i should set the side mirror first and that's exactly what i did but the side mirror move by itself while I'm driving til i don't see anymore behind it. I was informing him so that will be address accordingly.

It should be explained to customers that they have to have the equipment back at the time they say "think I should be done by". I didn't know it was set in stone or I would have said that I would be back before closing. The employees were also rude when they told me I had to park across the street. I would never go back to this location.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had regarding customer service. There were three staff at the counter and one customer ahead of me; however, after not being acknowledged for approx 5 min (staff was in a discussion about their previous day's work experience), I left to get some lunch (still not a weird from the staff). I returned 30 min later and felt as though I was an inconvenience to the staff, based upon how I was welcomed. When I decided I didn't feel comfortable adding a reference, I was told that I couldn't rent the truck and auto transport, due to company policy. I inquired about the need to have a reference (never experienced this in previous Uhaul renting), I was told that they needed someone to "call and harass", if I didn't return the equipment. I explained that this seemed uncomfortable to me, and that I might just rent equipment from a competitor, and I was told to "go ahead". I left the business and called the toll free number for Uhaul. The person who helped me over the phone was polite, courteous, and understanding of my unpleasant experience. Although I had to rent the equipment from the same location, she arranged for the keys to be placed in the vehicle, that way I didn't have to interact with that unpleasant (and quite rude) personnel again. I would recommend seriously sitting down with that group of staff and retaining them on quality customer care. If you have any additional questions, please contact me at 615.490.2493.
