Explain what the extra $5.43 charge on my credit card was when I drove the truck exactly 7 miles and put one gallon of gas in it before returning it, actually putting MORE fuel in than when I picked it up! I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT AT ALL~!!!

I was extremely dissatisfied with your service. I made my reservations to pick up the truck in Concord. Instead I received an email that I have to drive to Vallejo. Your Concord location did not have a 20' truck available. When we arrived in Vallejo, the truck only had less than 1/4 tank of gas. After we left your Vallejo location, we immediately stopped for fuel. The gas was not enough to reach Pittsburg. Your personnel was very unprofessional and rude. They did not even examine the truck with me for any damages. The just handed me the key after I signed the contract. The personnel indicated your policy no longer fill the tank with fuel. Is this true? When we returned the truck to Castroville, the gentleman stated that U-haul always fills the tank with gas. I have used your company numerous times for moving in the past. I am certainly would think of using another company in the future.

The pickup truck I rented had a "Check Engine" light on. I told the gentleman at the uhaul center about this and he assured me that the truck was fine. The truck did the job fine, but I found out when I purchased fuel for the truck, that there was no gas cap. That was probably the reason for the check engine light. Perhaps have a "gas cap" check or a checklist of things to check when trucks are returned.

The employees at this location were very helpful. When I reserved on-line, Uhaul couldn't "guarantee" that I could pick up at this location but would write my request on the order. I kept checking in to see if it had been confirmed for pickup (3 times). The day before pickup, I went to the location and told them my request had been noted yet I was still assigned to a location several miles away. They easily got Uhaul to assign my request to them. Sometimes it's frustrating to work with "corporate" and much easier to work with the people at the location. Glad it all worked out, though.

Make sure the reps taking the calls know what the policy's are fot each location. She told me a $100 cash deposit is all I needed. When that location no longer takes cash only.

this uhaul dealer was at my truck before i stopped and had me unloaded in a matter of minutes, did his checks for blankets damage to trailer. this place is very clean and the yard personnel are very good. they do uhaul only. entrance and exit are well marked 3 lanes in and out no one parked in the lanes that weren't picking up or dropping off.
