No drop box, no contact available with the location on drop off day, the U-Haul customer service line swore up and down that the location was open, despite the fact that it was a holiday and there was a sign on the door that said they were closed for said holiday. The phone rep redirected me to another location, this after I had finalized my rental at the neighborhood location and spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to iron it out. The second location (Marine Drive) was incredibly helpful and was able to take back the truck with no issue. After I had departed the second location the operator from the first location called me and instructed me to go back to the second location, retrieve the truck, drive it back across town and leave it there. A 3-hour clusterf—k of an experience. Zero shade towards the Marine Drive location. They were absolute champs.

The location was good, they had good communication. The frustrating part is U-Haul's obsession with getting me to use their app. I don't want the app. Just let me return it easily on the website without making me call to find out how to do it. Ridiculous business practice. Again, this location is great, it's just the corporation of U-Haul itself that is annoying at times
Micah FThere is no parking for the Uhaul on site, nor your own car. It is a bit ridiculous that it is a car rental place that doesn't have space for your car. They insist you have to park on the street where the UHaul is picked up from (which is very full of cars parked). So they expect you to park your car in place of the UHaul, however when we went to drive the car into the space of the UHaul, it had been taken. The lady at the desk was very rude when we explained this. It made for a very stressful experience. The UHaul itself smelled of urine and looked as if it had never been cleaned.
Crystal CI usually enjoy my experience with U-Haul but this location was horrible and I would never give them my business again. The staff were incompetent and rude. They tried to charge me twice. The van wasn’t branded - no U-Haul decals or stickers. The van wasn’t clean and it said an oil change was required. The staff couldn’t tell me where the gas hose should go. When I returned the van the staff made me move it to three different locations even after I’d parked and returned it with a small child. When I asked why that wasn’t their job, the woman said it was because she was the only staff and couldn’t drive. The same woman was the same person who tried to bill me twice and then argued with me in circles, calling me rude, when I tried to show her my bank statement which would prove I’d already paid what she was trying to collect for a second time. Then she had her boss talk to me on the phone and he would not listen to me either, was simply horrible towards me. No customer service at all!!! This location is so bad it’s enough to stop using U-Haul at all. I would ask that you review your relationship with this business if you care to keep your customers.
