I rented the Uhaul vehicle from California Classic Storage on 6/4/16 and was quoted $79.10. I returned the vehicle in the same condition to the location I was instructed to return it to by California Classic Storage. I filled the tank above what it was when I took it. I was not aware until I looked at my checking accounting the next day that I was billed an ADDITIONAL $196+ on top of the $79.10 which resulted in me having to make numerous phone calls to correct the error. In the meantime, because of the much larger (and completely unexpected) incorrect charge by Uhaul, my checking account overdrew and has cost me much larger fees and problems. Uhaul still has from Uhaul can tell me the correct rental charge yet though I've talked with numerous Uhaul representatives. Btw - I haven't mentioned that I was told to take the vehicle to a different location on Thompson, who then told me to take it the 76 station on wells, which not only took time and caused more frustration, but also racked up additional mileage and gas usage. The additional fee of $196 was just icing on the cake. What a disorganized and customer disrespectful experience it has been with Uhaul. The representatives seem to try to help but there is obviously process gaps and quality assurance issues going on with Uhaul that cause grief and incorrect costs to the customers. I'm still waiting to hear back from Uhaul and really would like my money back that they unfairly charged. This should be illegal.

Reserved a 20ft truck and got a 17ft truck. When asked if they could get me the correct truck they told me I would need to call around and find one. Lady at the counter was nice during pickup abd drop off. Poor customer service on whomever answered the phone during reservation confirmation call back.

I was corresponding with an agent about to receive an email of a receipt when another person, female, came on and asked me what I needed. I asked for a receipt and she told she could not send me one via email, though rep I had just been talking was in the process of just that. She was argumentive and did not want to hear my situation. She told me it could not be done I called 2 hours later and another representative did exactly what she said could not be done. She made it clear she was from corporate. I asked if call was recorded she said know. How convenient. She basically all but called me a liar.

The worker was completely under trained and had no idea how to perform her job. It took 3 hours to check a simple trailer out. This was an awful experience and I will never return to this uhaul location.

Luckily I looked under the uhaul after it was loaded and saw the right inside tire was blown out and this is how I received the truck! I could have been killed if I did not notice. THEN the other the inside tire (which was obviously also damaged) blew out leaving us stranded for hours in over 100 degree weather with kids and dogs.

I have rented several Uhaul trucks in throughout Ventura County in the last 2 months as we transitioned from our old house, to storage, and then to our new house. When we rented from this location in Ventura, they told me that my AMEX declined and that it was not being accepted. Which does not make sense as it has been accepted at the other Uhaul locations I've rented a truck from. I was forced to give them an alternate card, a card that was new and I have not used anywhere else but I keep as my spare card. The guy took my information as he proceeded to complete my contract for the truck we were renting. The next day, I got calls from my bank notifying me that I had a few fraudulent activity on the card that Ventura Uhaul accepted. Not only that, but when my husband and I returned the truck, somehow it shows that we were never "rented" the truck, meaning had anything happened while we were in the possession of the truck, we would have been held liable for any damages and the truck itself. Also, my card was never charged for the truck, and instead, what was charged was for items that we never even took or rented from them. Oh, and to top it all off, the contract that we signed and completed at the time we rented the truck, somehow disappeared! Hmmm..wonder what happened to it?!? After all of that, Uhaul still charged us for the truck, and to "compensate" for our trouble, they deducted $19.95 from our total. whooo hoo! Also, my Amex card that they claimed to not accept, 2 days later also had fraudulent activity on it. So needless to say, I will never be renting from this location ever again!

Bed of truck was swept out but not clean. Hours are not as expected. Service person Michel was great.
