I was told I was receiving a 10km credit by the person who rented me the truck, along with that I had to drop it off at the Topaz location. During drop off, the workers at Topaz refused the 10km credit, saying it was not in the notes and making it seem like I had fabricated it for a deal. They excused it saying they are a separate entity (even though I booked through the Uhaul app, only following Uhaul instructions for pickup at Yates, drop off at Topaz), and that I would have to pay in the meantime and reach out to the Yates location for a refund. They simply gave me an email, no offer to follow up with me, or inquire themselves. It seems work was put on me to fill the gaps that their depatch systems have left for users. I was extremely displeased and will certainly be warning my friends about these possibilities.

KATJA TBetter signage is NEEDED for mobile drop off as the trucks and key drop are behind gated fences!! I was told it was in the contracts to call them directly when we arrived but I didn't see this specification, so it was buried pretty deeply in your 20 page contract! We ended up leaving the truck in the parking lot of the address given but I had to return the next day with the key. When I did come back I was told that the truck had a parking ticket for parking in that lot and they were going to make me pay the ticket! This is VERY poor business practice as we left the truck at the address we were given, right beside another Uhaul truck! Obviously we weren't the only ones that did so. As I said, put up SIGNS to call the number upon return. I wasted my time and gas bringing the key back in order to keep said truck safe. We will NOT be renting again from this company and will gladly let others know the poor service we received.
