The mobile check-in for returning the truck after hours is a little janky, I couldn't get it to work correctly. So I took a photo of the truck back at the location when I dropped it off and time stamped it and sent it to the location manager to show that I dropped it off by the deadline. Phones are great if everything works correctly, keep it simple and keep it old-school.
Open on time. I reserved a vehicle for a 9:00 am pickup The office didn't open until 9:15am in spite of the fact that I had done an one line reservation for 9:00. I was on a tight time line and this interfered with it.
Eve was a great help in helping me get set up .
The automated system is garbage. I had to use my smartphone to check in and to check out. The links on the website aren't mobile friendly and did not work. The employee had to call a higher office in order to check the truck out and check the truck back in. I do not anticipate using U-Haul ever again because this process was so bad.
Tried to use mobile application took me two hours to get through . Wasted two hours trying to get access to the truck
All is on the way needed nothing more you guys are life saving.

Best moving experience ever. Got a brief guidance as well on using the rental truck and everything went well.
I was charged $14 extra that I didn't ask for and didn't sign for and still had to pay because somebody else signed my name without my knowledge I was not asked if I wanted their insurance or even told about it so no I'm not happy with the service I received. I did all my information by phone so therefore didn't sign anything and neither did the people who picked up the truck for me parents

I booked Uhaul on 23rd August to pickup on 25th August at 9:30 AM for 24 hours. I got the confirmation e-mail as well as well. Please see below message from Uhaul. "We have a 10' Moving Van reserved for you and guaranteed Saturday, 8/25/2018 at 9:30 AM, returning Sunday, 8/26/2018 at 9:30 AM. We are located at 1440 W 7800 S, WEST JORDAN, UT 84088 and our phone number is (801) 254-9273." On the morning of 25th August before i had to go for pickup i got message on my cell that now your reservation have been reduced to 4 hours only and i have to return the truck at 1:30 PM on 25th. I had no clue why this happened so i reached to the U-haul location at West Jordon and they told that all these things are done by U haul customer services and they have explicit instructions that i cannot have the truck for 24 hours. My entire moving plan was based on that rented truck for 24 hours. There was no possibility that i could to entire moving in 4 hours. No one was listening me and no one was answering why the timing was reduced to 4 hours although i got guaranteed confirmation of 24 hours. I had no choice they some how agreed to extend the timing till 3:00 PM. It was very very hectic and difficult for me to do everything in that limited timing so i shipped only big stuff and then returned the truck before 3 PM as promised. This whole experience was horrible for me. because of this i had to ship all small stuff by my car taking 8 round trips to new place. I had no choice to book the truck for some other day or some other time neither any truck was available. If i would not have started moving on 25th then i would have payed whole month rent to my previous apartment. If this is the service U-haul is offerning to their customer then i would say this is not the service rather this is the harrasment. If they cannot give the truck for 24 hours then they should have told me the same day i was booking and they should not have send me the guranteed confirmation mail. If i knew this then i would have gone to other rental services at first place.
The cab had soda residue all over the cup holders and some on the floor.. the inside of the back was very dirty.. it had not been swept out. The ramp had a lot of dirt and full of goat head stickers... they stuck to the bottom of our shoes and got everywhere.. I had to spent time sweeping out the back and sweeping off the ramp before I could continue loading. I was going to use the blanket to cover my tv but when I opened the cover to get the blanket out, it was very dirty so I didn't even bother... not very happy with this experience and will probably look at a different company next move.
I booked a truck for 24 hours via online, after I booked it and provided my CC info I received a phone call saying that the Truck is not available for 24 hours, only for 20 hours...Bad customer service, bad service, web site information is deceiving.
Check for closer dealer for pickup you waste half your miles and time traveling across town to get your truck but see dealer with multiple trucks on you way there.
There was a behemoth truck in the middle parking space on one side and an employee car in the middle (illegal) parking space on the other side. I'm now seeing a charge for over 50 dollars on my credit card from this place. If they are claiming damage, I'd like to see proof. I did end up with one wheel on the grass, because I was instructed not to block any access to the lot. I could have left the truck in front of the gates and not attempted to park it. I chose not damage property or block access. I'd have been fine if the employee hadn't parked illegally. Your system somehow crashed my phone at this location. I was in process of checking in and suddenly I had a brick instead of a phone. I walked a block to find a phone to borrow, waited on hold for 20 minutes and your "helpful" customer support agent told me that a, I was half an hour late (of course I was. I had sworn a blue streak and then walked a block, then waited on hold for 20 minutes) and b, she would take care of checking in the truck. Now the check in I show shows a balance of 0. What is the charge to my credit card about? I've already grossly overpaid for this truck. I'm not paying more. Please get back to me ASAP with an update. You have a very angry person who is about ready to swear off using Uhaul. You wanted my review of this mess? Here it is. Your customer service sucks. Your trucks are overpriced. You quote one thing and charge another. You've been downright dishonest in this transaction.
The lady we spoke to was nice but didn't communicate properly. There was a miscommunicatoin of when we could return the truck as it was the last rent of the day. We told her as we arrived that we may need it an extra few hours. First she said we could keep it until morning and then changed it right before our designated return time to that night. We had been able to take our time trying to empty an entire house to frantically trying to finish and then we will have to rent again because we ran out of time. Also the truck had some garbage in it when we picked it up and so we had to do extra work to clean it up. My husband is a truck driver and felt the truck's gears were sticking and needs to be fixed for it to be driven again. We have rented U-Hauls before and never had a problem. I think from now on the best bet is to rent straight from a U-Haul rental store not from a storage partner.
I went 19 miles and purchased 4 gallons of gas leaving the level higher than when I checked the truck out but was still charged for 2.6 gallons of gas. The math doesn't even make sense. I assume the trucks manage better than 2.87 miles per gallon. I was not even told I was being charged for the gas. I only discovered it after I had left.
Lady in office was friendly and professional. Was in and out in minutes both picking up truck and dropping off. Price was excellent. Five Stars:)
We were told to leave a fourth of a tank of gas and we left 3/4. of a tank. We went over miles so were charged more but were not compensated for the extra gas we put in. We filled the tank not knowing how much it would take to get to destination. Since we left an extra half of tank I think there should have been a deduction on miles.
