Clerk was incompetent for his job, unfortunately in my case. Although not everyone can solve every single problem, an employee needs to be able to raise a concern when there is an unusual thing going on. With that point, the clerk who processed my reservation failed to catch the "system glitch" and made me pay over $1000 "deposit" even after I paid similar amount for my truck and auto transport. That was after I pointed out that this amount was ridiculous. So I don't know, but from my experience and reading recent google reviews saying very negatively of this location mainly due to the clerks working here, I would not definitely recommend this location to rent your truck/auto transport.

My rental was due at 7pm and I arrived at 6:54pm; the personnel saw when I pulled in and she still locked the door. Then stated that to myself and another customer who was dropping off that we were suppose to return the truck at 6pm, but we picked it up at 7pm.

My contract was to drop the truck at a different location. When I got there, the person in charge of uhaul rental said he didn't have enough space to take it. I had to drive to the okeechobee location which added more miles which then cause me to pay more. Not a happy customer.

The service was questionable. It took an hour before I could leave with the truck. People were to busy, and the comment was that they to little staff available. Also, the reading of the mileage and the gaz was wrong on the contract. I had to spend another hour trying to get it corrected. If had not taken good care to make sure the readings were correct, I would have been charged a lot more that what it should have been. UHaul should take a lot more precautions to ensure that these readings are the appropriate ones in the first place. The one thing I take away is that UHaul can not be trusted and we need to pay a lot of attention if we are obligated to rent from them. It shouldn’t be the case if UHaul considers themselves as a world class company. This was a small “mom and pop shop” experience.

The return policy is terrible. Making the customer set up an account, take all the pictures and try to navigate through a new site while trying to read his phone in the bright sunlight is ridiculous.

Took over an hour for the return process at this location alone. thats after being turned away by two other facilities I was instructed to go to. Spent over three hours trying to return the trailer.
