I love Uhaul but they charged me wrong for fuel and mileage. Truck was so convenient

I had a great time getting the job done the vehicle was a mess but I don't care. 2 wheel Dolly got the job done no problem there. When I go to return They charge extra for mileage it was supposed to be 200 but they wrote down 100 I did not catch that into the end stupidly I filled the gas up more than I stood. I never got the rest of my money back.
The office experience left much to be desired in throughput. The clerk was average. The guy in the yard was great.

Have more employees Like SCOTTI at this busy location. She was doing 3-peoples jobs. She was very hard and professional working woman to say the least. AMAZING IS MORE LIKE IT!! SCOTTI was one of the hardest working member of U-HAUL and for any company I have ever been to. I wish she and others like her were on my personal team. Amazing amount of energy and professionalism. Incredible. She deserves to get a RAISE and even should be running her own store. Because she running that entire location by herself even the lot outside and office inside and we customers waited patiently for a long long time to have her just smile while we watched in amazement ðŸ‘Œ. Issues I had were that there was no equipment available at my reserved location when I showed up at the designated time. I was redirected to another location for a different sized truck. I could not return the truck to the selected location and was redirected. (Minor inconvenience but both redirects added miles to my trip and may have put me over the allotment which was close to what I needed. Last issue was returning the truck - after returning and inspection I was asked to â€œcheck inâ€ in the office where I waited in line for half an hour only to be told I didn't need to do anything additional.
I rented two days in a row and the service was the same. Customer friendly, and helpful!
I love the Share Online process. The way of getting the key needs to be improved. However, service, service reps were organized, customer friendly and helpful! Despite being such a busy location.
My Cargo Van reservation was given to another customer so that time of compact can was not available. I ended up with the square van. There was only 1 person working the counter when I arrived at 4pm on Sat 1/30/21. She was running around inside and outside assisting too many customers at once so customers inside were waiting (including myself) fir a long period of time. No organization and the tall guy outside who checks in the trucks was also working by himself. Both the girl and the 1 male were overwhelmed which added to confusion. It's almost like everyone else called out sick or something. After standing in line for almost 45 mins. Another girl came shuffling in slowly. Perhaps from lynch or dinner break?? Not the best of service this go around on this day. Sounds like U-Haul should re-visit their Operations Management to re-organize the front desk. 3 counter representative stations but only 1 person slaving away as customers come and line up. Entirely too many customers and not enough workers covering the counter or vehicle returns. The process was very sloppy last Saturday but I don't blame those two employees...I fully blame the overall management fir not ensuring adequate shift coverage. U-Haul can do better than this. Your 2 employees there that day...need a BONUS and an extra PAID day off. My hat goes off to these two for doing the best they could with no help AND they managed (in all the chaos) to get me into another van since the actual one I reserved was given away in error.
For the biggest and most busy UHaul in West Palm Beach, FL. these people only had 1 girl writing up sales. The line was out the door. They also only had one guy receiving trucks coming back. They had incoming renters parking all over the place then they come and yell at us to move cars when if they would've had 2-3 writing sales people there wouldn't have been renters cars piling up.

My truck broke down on the highway. It drifted off the road after the steering pump went out. After 3 hours of waiting it was towed to my destination and repaired in my driveway the next day. I was not offered any additional time nor any compensation for the inconvenience. I was told by the manager that he would make it right and call me by the end of the day when I dropped it off but I did not hear from him. I was mostly upset because I could have lost controll of the truck and flipped it when the steering pump failed. I will not be using your service again.
