We're told to pick up the moving van In Kenmore, Wa. But, when we got there we were told we'd have to go to Woodinville to pick it up because they overbook. We had to drive at 10 miles further to pick up the van thus we were charged more for miles. The Kenmore location is 1 mile from where we were moving items too. It was really disappointing since I made the reservation well in advance of the date of pick up. Thank you

I stopped one block away from the drop off location to fill up the tank to 9/16 (which is a crazy policy by itself) When I got the bill they said the tank was only at half and charged me extra for filling the tank. Why did I even bother to stop?

They were friendly when I returned truck, however they called me back a week later and threatened to call police if I didn't return the vehicle and report it stolen. I advised I had already turned it in and 3 days earlier than I needed to. They found their mistake.

The Broke down once I got home and had to wait 2 hours for roadside to show up.was told the alternator and Power Steering was shot and needed to be towed. An hour later the same tech came back and said he can fix it. He fixed some belts and test drive the truck. I had to keep it over night as I was not able to complete my move in 1 day. I had hired help that I had to bring in the next day and it cost me $250.00 extra for labor. Just now Uhaul charged me $243.00 as they charged me $42.00 safe insurance and charged for 2 days of rental when I was told that ot would be just for 1 day.

I made a reservation a week in advance and chose counter service. A couple days before, I received a phone call stating that the location would be closed and I had been switched to mobile pick-up. The location owner walked me through all of the steps, but on the day of the experience was not as expected. The app would not work. When I called the local Uhaul numbers, all they kept telling me was to keep trying. At this point, I was almost an hour past the start of my reserve time. Finally, I called the 800 number and they were able to finally troubleshoot. I ended up picking up the truck an hour and a half past my reservation time. The entire experience was frustrating and added stress to an already stress induced day. I would not use Uhaul again or recommend it to anyone else. I expect everything to function properly whether it's an app or a website and when something goes awry to get immediate help. The fact that the solution was to "keep trying" is ridiculous and frankly insulting. I hope Uhaul can work on their services and customer relations, but I will be taking my business elsewhere.


I drove 2900 miles fighting 40 miles winds the last day all day ..trip was long and hard getting to location 3am after 5 days of driving. I had late help unloading..Your regional office called and Yelled at me for not having truck back at 9 am. Very rude people in regional office saying they needed truck regardless, very rude not understanding..when I got to return location they hard 5 different trucks sitting there available to rent and yet your regional offices talked to me rude what's wrong with them you don't treat customers like that..I will rent from Penske next time ! They called my emergency person # 5 times.. called me while I was driving what's the deal Really returning truck 6 hrs late under all these hard conditions you still charge me $59 late fees not should give me Free 6 hrs just from putting up with your rude employees.

I rented a trailer close to closing time and the gentleman who helped me out was very nice and patient with me. I brought the wrong size ball and forgot my trailer light adapter (which I had to purchase new, of course) and the guy was super cool with my ineptitude the whole time. Returning the trailer was also a breeze. The gentleman who met me upon arrival helped me park the trailer and I was back on the road in no time. He was also super friendly. I would definitely recommend this location and would definitely rent from here again.

The staff seemed unfriendly because the person serving me did not look at me in the face. He just looked at the screen and asked the questions. Was noy inviting. He was not mean or rude, which is ok. He did his job efficiently. He was just not friendly.

Van was dirty inside cargo area ... floor covered in dirt. Used 24/7 mobile pick-up ... app is awful and buggy. Code to get the keys didn't work, so I had to wait for the location to open and get help. Overall disappointed.

Everything seemed standard when I arrived, however, when they brought my truck out it was a 15' foot vs. the 26' foot that I had reserved. All the location could tell me was to call Uhaul customer service and take it up with them. This was particularly upsetting because I had movers scheduled to move and I could not fit everything into my truck. I called Uhaul customer service and they said the location should have called me and let me know of the change, but I didn't get a call from Uhaul or the location, just my email confirmation for the large truck. They gave me the $50.00 (from customer service, the location wouldn't even touch it) but that didn't even begin to cover the inconveniences. Never again, I'll pay triple to Penske before I lose another day off work and schedule movers.
