Overall experience was not good. locations were switched on me mid-trip, the trailer broke, and customer service was non existent! The staff at the pickup location did well though



Roach infestation on the truck. Found them mid way thru move. Since, we have found numerous roaches on our belongings. We did not have roaches previously!



Service engine light was on, the radio didn't work, tire pressure varied greatly from 19psi to 32psi, fuel gauge and mileage didn't correspond with what was printed on the rental contract.

Friendlier, more professional staff. Out of the 6 workers there, two of them were okay. Last gentlemen to help me was more helpful than the original. Granted the systems were down and had crashed, the attitude we were getting from the employees here was unacceptable. If there was a closer location I would of left.

Update your computer system, always have a problem checking out, feels like I was there longer then I had the truck!!! Change your cleaner they clean the trucks with, stinks so bad it made me vomit!!!

It is very frustrating to coordinate my move over a month in advance only to be told two days prior to my. I’ve that my vehicle will not be available. After much debate and talking to senior management, they find me a vehicle but it is very far from the original pick up location. This is a result of poor logistics in your behalf.



The staff was very communicative and engaged and friendly but my van was not ready when I asked and I needed to change from a one way to a local and it was difficult

I have rented vans here before Today I rented again. Never explained to me that the mileage rate was more than 1/2 than before when I asked if rate is posted they told me no because it changes from time to time Totally unacceptable not the way to conduct business and I will take mine elsewhere

When I received my truck, it had what looked like slightly less than a quarter of a tank. When we put gas back in we felt we filled it to the same point we received it. I was then charged $34 because I was told I did not fill it up enough. I have a screen shot of what if the fuel tank level that was given to me by an employee, which to me, looks exactly like how I received the truck. If it was an error on my part, it is less than 1 gallon. I believe I should have been given the benefit of the doubt. I do believe I should be credited the $34 back. On top of that, when when I return the truck, one employee was telling another that neither one of the bathrooms were working. The young girl expressed concern, and the male employee behind the counter looked at her and jokingly said “you have a cup use that. She then replied “i can’t just whip it out like one of you guys.” To me, this is no way to be talking in front of customers. I was not the only person in the store at this point in time. Hard to believe-but if you doubt this, call the store and ask if their bathrooms are working. In closing, I am not happy at all about being charged an additional $34 for gas, and I’m also not happy with the level of customer service and professionalism Shown. I’ve used uhaul multiple times for truck rentals an this was way below par for you. If I don’t hear back from someone in regards to being credited within the next three days, I will write about my experience on Google, yelp, Yahoo and Angie’s list. Regards, Ken 516-782-3832

The customer service was appalling. The staff on the phone was rude, disrespectful and outright lied more than once when booking a rental truck. We were misled about what was available and where it was to be picked up. We booked in white plains ny and were confirmed a vehicle at this site and then told we needed to travel out of state to pick up the vehicle. I was told too bad, that’s where the vehicle is. We were then told to travel 45 minutes north as an alternate pick up location. After more than 4 calls we were able to secure a vehicle 20 minutes away. The only positive aspect in this horrendous ordeal was the customer service representative who treated us with respect as human beings. We will most certainly look for alternate rental truck providers the next time. U-Haul was disgraceful!

I've used this location a few times and employee Safa has helped me on a number of occasions. She often is working alone at the front desk and handles her business flawlessly. She's always polite and as often multi tasking with extreme profrency. She's an excellent employee and Uhaul should be ecstatic that they have an employee with her professionalism and efficiency.
