I didn't need all the layers for Dish Saver Kit, but the extra cell cardboard slats came in handy for other purposes.

Can you use the cell kit with any other boxes?

–Karl b 8/20/2020 9:06:25 AM

Hello, Karl! Although possible, the cell kit is specifically designed for use with our Dish Barrel Box. We do not recommend using any other box. Thank you!

–Savannah 8/21/2020 11:23:17 AM

Will these work for quart size mason jars?

–Amanda 2/20/2019 9:26:37 AM

Hi, Amanda! Quart size mason jars will likely fit in the top layer of the cell kit, but not in the lower layer since the cells are smaller (Top two levels measure 4.25" x 4.25" x 6.5", bottom level measures 3.25" x 3.25" x 12"). You could also consider our Glass Pack Kit, which contains 18 cells that are 4” x 4” x 11” each. I hope that is helpful!

–Savannah 2/20/2019 12:16:54 PM

I am packing only coffee mugs... how many do you think would fit in this?

–jo 2/17/2019 3:29:53 PM

Hi, Jo! The cell sizes of each level of the cell kit vary (top two levels measure 4.25" x 4.25" x 6.5" deep. Bottom level measures 3.25" x 3.25" by 12" deep. The width can be increased by removing partitions). Since coffee mugs vary in size and weight, a better option may be our Glass Pack Kit. Thank you!

–Savannah 2/18/2019 10:34:19 AM

One of the answers says you can fit about 57 glasses in a cell kit if you are packing only glasses. How is that possible if there are only 48 cells?

–Laura Carlton 4/20/2018 9:47:31 AM

Hi, Laura! That was an error on our end. The cell kit only fits 48 glasses. We apologize for the confusion!

–Savannah 4/20/2018 10:23:01 AM

How many glasses can you fit in a cell kit?

–Allan 12/18/2017 12:26:29 PM

Hey, Allan! Approximately 48 glasses will fit in the cell kit if you are packing only glasses. Thanks for asking!

–Savannah 12/18/2017 4:14:49 PM

does cell pack include foam sleeves for the dishes

–dean 7/21/2016 2:16:57 PM

Sorry Dean, the cell kit does not include any foam pouches. However, we sell cushion foam pouches separately that could be just what you're looking for!

–SAVANNAH 7/22/2016 8:28:06 AM

What would you recommend for a set of 10 cups and saucers?

–Lynette 12/28/2015 3:04:12 AM

We recommend the Glass Pack Kit.
Depending on the size of the saucers a couple of dividers may need to be removed. If they are large cups and saucers a Dish Saver Kit may be able to be utilized.

–Joseph 12/28/2015 3:17:15 PM

If I'm using this for dishes and glasses, is it better to put the glasses on the bottom layer or the top layer?

–Rachel 10/24/2015 7:58:50 AM

As dishes are commonly heavier than glassware, we recommend placing dishes in first. Thanks for asking!

–Joseph 10/26/2015 11:58:34 AM

Does this come with the bubble protectors for each item like the Glass Saver kit?

–AJ 7/26/2015 9:52:56 PM

No, I'm sorry it does not.

They can be purchased separately here!

–Joseph 8/25/2015 3:52:52 PM

will wine bottles fit in each cell?

–Frank 2/7/2015 10:14:41 PM

Hi, Frank! The measurements of the cells are: Top two levels measure 4.25" x 4.25" x 6.5" deep. Bottom level measures 3.25" x 3.25" by 12" deep. The width can be increased by removing partitions.

Also, we recommend using our wine shipping kits for moving, storing, or shipping wine bottles. Thank you!

–Savannah 7/3/2017 3:31:45 PM

Will this item work for plates and saucers?

–LW 9/27/2014 8:40:48 AM

"Yes, the cell dividers can be removed to accommodate large plates and saucers. You may also want to look at our Dish Saver Kit (part number DS)."

–Ronald 9/29/2014 9:05:59 AM

What are the sizes of the cells? doesn't look like they are all the same.

–Ruth 1/26/2014 5:48:35 PM

Top two levels measure 4.25" x 4.25" x 6.5" deep. Bottom level measures 3.25" x 3.25" by 12" deep. The width can be increased by removing partitions.

–Stephen 1/27/2014 2:42:27 PM

How many "layers" in a cell kit? It looks to me like 3 layers of 16 or 48 cells per dish barrel. Is that correct?

–Jim 12/29/2013 3:43:55 PM

Correct. Up to 48 individual cells per cell kit.
