How much does the trailer jack weigh?
Hello Juanita, 12 lbs. Thank you for your question
How many inches will crank out, or how will it lift my trailer so I can back my truck to attach my trailet?
Hi Dale, We are waiting for a response from the manufacturer...
Can I attach this jack to a 5x8 utility cargo trailer that I rent
Hello, Joel! No, this trailer jack cannot be used with a U-Haul trailer rental. Please visit your local U-Haul Hitch Center to explore more options. Thank you!
Are Uhaul's cargo trailers equipped with a trailer jack and if not can one be temporarily installed?
Hello, Wendy! U-Haul does not offer a permanent or temporary jack for cargo trailers. Thanks for asking!
Are the bolt holes in the bracket @ 3.5 inches on center?
Hi, Lyle! The mounting holes are at 3” on center. Thanks for asking!
What clearance is needed? What if there is a dip in the road, I don't want the jack to bottom out.
Our hitch pro writes: "2613 topwind trailer jack measures 10-5/16" from the mounting bracket to the bottom of the inner tube when fully retracted and 25-5/16" when fully extended."
We have a uhaul on our SUV and it's fully loaded. We need to take it off the SUV and leave it in one place for a short time. Is this what we need to do that?

Where on a trailer does this mount? Also, one of the answers says the mounting holes are 3” on center. What does that mean?
