I was sent a tank dated 03/2021 nearly 3 and a half years old. This is not acceptable when a tank is only legal for 12 years. I expected to receive a new 2023 tank. Therefore I do not recommend this product.

I can't rate it or recommend it because I haven't received it. A label was created on 17 April in Kansas City and it has been awaiting pickup since then.

The propane tank itself is good but the dimensions are way off. It is not 8.9” wide. It’s more like 9 1/4” wide! So keep that in mind when purchasing.

Tank seems well made except the paint was already scraped off with light rust on the bottom and a few scrapes on the tank side. Tank manufacture date was only 9 months earlier, so that was good. The biggest issue is the tank is stamped "Made in Thailand" when it was advertised as made in the USA. I could have ordered a similar non-USA made tank for around $20 less elsewhere. But not worth the hassle of returning.

Where are these tanks made?

–Bulvariais Shagnastic 11/11/2023 10:20:18 PM

Hi there. These tanks are made in the U.S.A. Thanks for asking!

–Kristy 11/14/2023 1:34:40 PM

I see this question was previously asked in February 2023, but I wanted to confirm that it is still the case. Are the Manchester 10 lb. propane tanks still purged before they are shipped to the customer? I just bought one and I thought it might be good to revisit the question, since there is no one locally that purges new propane tanks. Thanks

–Geoffrey Upson 10/28/2023 12:41:26 PM

Hi Geoffrey! Yes, these are purged. I hope that helps!

–Kristy 10/31/2023 10:32:40 AM

What are the dimensions (diameter and height) of the 10# container?

Hi Jason. Height is 17.4" and 8" in diameter. I hope that helps.

–Kristy 6/7/2023 5:45:54 PM

–Dan 2/13/2023 5:53:36 AM

Hi Dan! These are already purged. Have a great day!
