Received a hard wire module. Was looking for a plug in module. & received it well after the 2 days allowed to return it. I purchased a unit locally from U Haul & I guess I will eat the original unit. Not sure if I misread the site or not..

Is it an easy fit part? I bought one with part number of 14493. What is the difference between 14493 and 14494? Is it because 14493 I have to cut the wire, and 14494 has an adaptor, I don't need to cut the wire?

–Dennis Xia 6/15/2016 8:58:38 AM

The 14494 is nearly identical to your 14493, they both are universal splice option powered converters with an led and 4-flat outlet. The 14494 is designed to fit more vehicles than the 14493.
