I would like to speak to someone in customer service. I showed up the morning prior to my movers arriving to find out the location was permanently closed / out of business. There was no one on site to assist with the U-haul not to mention the only one there was the incorrect size. I sent our movers home as I was unable to access the U-haul however I still had to pay them for coming out. We went back later in the day and called your customer service number for assistance. They THEN explained that I had to download the app and follow instructions to gain access to the U-haul which wasn't noted to me by anyone prior. Because it was not a 15 ft truck as ordered, I had to reserve another container through PODs to accommodate. The U-Haul was left with a quarter tank of gas for me and windshield wipers that would not shut off resulting in me having to listen to them screech for a 10+ hour drive. It was also extremely dirty inside with cat hair, the smell of pet food, everything had dirt and debris on it, etc. This was easily the worst moving experience we've had. When calling and asking who I could reach out to with the issue, I was told by your team to send an email to Snapbox storage which once again, is out of business! Upon returning the U-haul and following the direction for 1309 N. 25th ave in Melrose Park, I was told by the gas station attendant that I could not drop the vehicle there and that he was going to call the cops if I did.

Didn’t come with the dolly needed, had to use an appliance dolly with bad wheels. Was charged $20 for going 17 miles extra miles even though i didn’t divert from my starting location to my final destination.
Robert DWe chose this location in part because it was open during normal business hours. We arrived at 11 AM to drop off the truck and no one was there. No one answered the doorbell. No one answered the phone. We called multiple times to the phone number on the door and the phone number on our contract and never got to a live person. When we finally got a hold of a live person two hours later via phone, it was an overseas call center and the person at the call center said the phone number only handles storage rental unit. This is frustrating because it was the number given to us on the U-Haul contract. We were worried about whether the return was going to be properly credited, so it was stressful.
RONALD MIt was a smooth experience at the location. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful in explaining every question asked. I will recommend this location and will go back for future rental needs.
