I wanted to rent a smaller truck, which had become available, but the representative at the North Bend, WA, office insisted on renting me a larger truck. The reason she provided for not renting the smaller truck did not make sense to me. Since it was not convenient for me to travel to another location, I had no choice but to rent the larger truck, which cost me more than I had originally planned to spend. U-Haul should make its truck availability and pricing policies more transparent so customers can make informed decisions and avoid situations like this. Greater transparency would help improve the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

A couple of things. I requested two utility Dollie’s and upon arrival I was told that none were available. It would have been nice if when reserving I was told none were available or received an email or phone call letting me know so I could have made other arrangements. Also, I did inform the person while picking up the truck that I was in a bit of hurry to get through the process in that my movers would be arriving shortly. She seemed to have no concern for our urgency, especially that we also bow had to call around looking for Dollie’s. Not to mention, the movers we did hire via uhaul.com never arrived. Overall, from the service counter, lack of reserved equipment and most importantly the movers not arriving, it was a terrible experience and we will not use any of U-hauls services moving forward and I would highly recommend others do not either.

matt mPros, very friendly and helpful service. Cons, charged for gas (I filled the tank before dropping off, and I drove 11 miles), was charged for an extra 2 gallons of gas. This 10' truck must get 3 miles to the gallon!
