Upon return, checkin was delayed which wasn't the largest issue - It was right at lunch, and I understood that the crew might be on break, etc... It took a few minutes for anyone to get out to the truck and check in. My real issue is that upon getting to the counter, hearing the MOD air her grievances with staff about the issue in front of me, quite loudly and unproductively. This was done with such volume, pomp and stance (now coming from both the MOD and the staff she was 'discussing' things with'), that checking out was actually a laborious process because it became difficult to even HEAR the dutiful clerk that assisted me. As an operations manager myself, I found the situation quite embarrassing and unprofessional. Front of house is front of house. Corrective conversations should never be had there.

Wait time was really bad since there was only one person attending the customers. I had made the reservation day before but it took me almost an hour to get hold of the vehicle.

I arrived at the location at 4:40 on Sunday. The website indicates the store closes at 5:00. As I was waiting with others by the sign for an attendant to come and check in my equipment, I hear keys rattling on the door and looked over to see the U-Haul associate locking the door. I ran over to the door and found it locked and went around the store to the next door only to see the attendant locking this door as well. When I tapped on the door and indicated that it was only 4:43, he made a slashing motion at his throat and said we are closed and pointed to the drop box. I read the information on the drop box and was concerned about leaving a hand truck in the back of the truck and not having the vehicle checked in while I was at the location. I again knocked on the door and said I wanted to check in my equipment. I again received the motion at the throat and "sorry we are closed". I returned to the truck I had rented and moved the hand truck to the front seat, locked the truck. As I look around, the associate who was saying the store was closed was now out in the parking lot working on something. When I looked a little odd at him, he said he was sorry but they had to close early due to the person who closes the store having an emergency. I didn't respond, but all I really wanted was my truck checked in and the charges verified. There were more than 3 people working at the store so was unsure why the entire store had to close. I returned to the drop box and deposited the key and held my breath that the truck was "Clean", fuel gauge was "Full", etc. All variables that could be exploited to charge me more. As I walked back to my car, it was still not 5:00 and the parking lot was swarming with people trying to get trucks returned, equipment rented, etc. only to find out they would be unable. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I seriously doubt I will use this U-Haul location again..

Reservation, rental process, and check-out of vehicle were all adequate. The vehicle was well maintained and clean. The problems were with the staff, especially during the process of checking the truck back in. When bringing the vehicle back for return, I made the mistake of bringing it in on the wrong side of the facility. One female worker yelled at me that this was the incorrect spot. After moving, another employee spoke mocking and derisively towards us for bringing the vehicle to the wrong side. He informed us that the gas tank was not 100% full, which was not an issue at all. While it was appreciated the he told us this, he also spoke very condescendingly regarding the fact that we needed the gas line to be ABOVE the full mark. I cannot argue with the price of UHaul, and the process has become very efficient, but the rudeness of the staff has made it so I will probably never visit this location again.

Julie was the attendant on duty. I have never been so oooo fortunate and blessed to have such a beautiful person as Julie. Julie is a sweetheart. She was very, very helpful, very knowledgeable, very kind and understanding. She even brought me some " WATER".:):):) She even made sure I had the correct size boxes to "re-box" some things. I will recommend the Public Storage facility on Jimmy Carter, as long as she is there. What a awesome Manager she is. Thank you for allowing this experience to be a good one for me.

One person was at the desk on Sunday 4-13-14 at approx.; 9:30 am and I was 3rd in line and waited 1/2 hour to return my van after it was checked in. There were 10 people waiting behind me, Yes 10! If some one does not show up it's no excuse. It was pathetic. I felt so bad for all those behind me. One customer threw his paperwork on the counter and left in disgust. The people working there were doing the best they could and were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It was a real unprofessional and and I will stay away from that location and U-Haul. .Last year I rented from Penske and was in and out in a flash. I see you also have other companies unrelated to U-Haul with their business cards on the counters, Can anyone who has a business leave a stack of cards to get a free promotion from U-Haul? "Someone promoting a book with a phone number "Take your life to the Next level"??? Maybe U-Haul on Jimmy carter ought to take it's business to tan acceptable level of customer service!

I was overcharged for equipment when the statement was emailed to me, billed for a second day when I dropped off equipment 6am on Saturday April 5th. Customer service is helping but overcharge should not have happened to begin with, I have photos of drop off and may dispute this with credit card company it this is not corrected soon

Explain the difference between local and point to point better, why are they 2 different systems on the phone that do not communicate with each other? We got shafted on price when if we had chosen the local version we would have spent half the money, we thought we were saving by going point to point. In the future we will probably go with a different company.

We were charged five months later for an appliance dolly which I personally returned the day after it was rented. I fully complied with the rental agreement but the manager wants to hold me accountable because they lost the item. I talked to the manager who said he would check but I heard nothing further from him.

I rented a cargo van locally for 2.5 hours $40.78 and was told could not pay with cash for vans only. I find this to be a serious inconvenience, and a van is not much an liability as a 24" truck. Not only did I get charged for an extra day after returning the rental equipment the night before it was due, but when I called to investigate, they had no recollection of when I dropped off the truck. I returned the vehicle on Sunday night, and because the equipment was not checked in until 8:40 am, 30 minutes after it was due, I was charged an extra day fee. When I called to settle my dispute, they made it seem like I was of no importance and quickly wanted me to give them a number so I could get someone call me back at THEIR earliest convenience. I was very upset because my account was unlawfully charged, for there was no authorization for the charge, I finally was able to speak with someone in customer service where my issue was resolved in an efficient and timely manner. I have never had a bad experience with Uhaul until I had to deal with the norcross location. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in them.

The only problem I experienced was not receiving a text message stating the location for my pick up. I didn't expect to have to call the Uhaul customer service line in order to find out where my trailer was. That should have already been taken care via contacting me at least 24 hour prior to the pickup time. I was not able to find out until the morning of the pickup. GET THAT FIXED SOON!!!

More employees are required during peak usage hours for shorter customer wait times. We waited quite a while yesterday! The employees were great and going as fast as they could but there simply were not enough people to work such a busy location. You will eventually lose good employees if you do not improve working conditions.

Jose was really helpful and friendly. I came to the store at 7:00PM, and even though the store was scheduled to close, he still rented me a Uhaul cargo van. I was very impressed because he wasn't annoyed that I had come in to pick up the van that late. Great job!
