When we went to pick up the truck it was bigger than the truck we reserved . As we walk around to find the truck to drive it away , as we atr walking to the triuck I find nails , scews and big staples in the road way and around the truck we are taking. A flat is not the way I want to start a trip with my U -haul truck.

The location referenced above was the SECOND location for me as no one at the Jimmy Carter location had gone to the trouble of actually obtaining the equipment I had reserved five days before. What was the point of making a reservation? Driving an extra ten miles and blowing another hour of my day was not needed.

I was supposed to get a 26 ft truck and Michelle guilted me into a 15 ft saying another person needed the bigger one more .had to make MANY trips making milage HUGE. My time to pick up was 11am and nothing was ready until 330pm. I was extremely disappointed and my bill was VERY high for something I didn’t order. I will never use Uhaul again . This whole situation was a disgrace .we were moving until 4 am because of having to go back and forth so much.. 4 bedroom house and a 15 ft truck...and.. the light didn’t work in the back end so we had to do everything in the dark.then it needed to be returned at 9am???!!! Failed that, we were wiped out . BAD EXPERIENCE. I feel as though we should receive rembursement.

Michelle the U-Haul rep was working by herself and was obviously flustered. It took us longer to get the truck (which we reserved in advance) then it did to unload our storage unit onto the truck. I am hoping that she is not usually that rude to customers but would say that management should have more than one employee on site during normal business hours

Short staffed; person was doing best she could under difficult circumstances. An error regarding beginning gas (actual not entered in computer) has been difficult to correct. Call center is NO help, just a runaround.

I felt as if I didn't matter as a customer. Aldo, there was a young lady there that was being inconvenienced with a local vs. One way rental and the agent tried to get her to commit to bringing the rental back earlier than her contractual obligation or she would have to go somewhere else and pick up a vehicle. That wasn't fair to her as a customer.

My truck was not ready on time and I had movers waiting. It was an hour and half late. I had the movers use my jeep and minivan in the meantime. I was supposed to get the truck for 24hrs, but was only allowed to have it for 22.5hrs. The staff did get the truck back, but I think if you have an appointment for a truck and it isn't there/returned, you should be looking into it before the customers arrival time. This was a major inconvenience.
