It was a terrific experience. Yelp reviews are always mixed, but I rented a vehicle with no reservation and was out the door in 10 mins. The staff was very polite.

I just had to make a quick, last minute move for work. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take me to find a place to live. So I rented a U-Haul for 12 days. I only used six of those 12 days but U-Haul will not refund your money. You have to pay the full no matter what. I knew this from the beginning, but it really sucks to be out $324.00.

I was concerned that there were many roaches in the van while we were using it to move. I felt most uncomfortable that these bugs might infest my new home. I will let you know in the future should this become a situation. Otherwise the woman who checked us into the van, was exceptional with customer service. But bugs I think you might consider looking into the service of extermination of such things. Thank you, Robert M. Todd 619 356 8183

Double check the gas amount as in my case it differed from what it was to what was indicated in the paperwork.

Customers should pick up a truck with full gas tank and drop off the truck with full gas tank. It is not good to pick up with half full tank and drop off with half full gas tank.

The location was very convenient for us. The staff was helpful and friendly. Thou the facility wasn't as large and as well maintained as the one in Denver - I would still recommend this location based on the people who work there.

This Hispanic couple at this location in San Diego were very nice & professional. The truck & blankets were ready to go when I arrived. I've been a customer of UHaul for many years. This was my best experience ever. I could tell that the truck was clean inside & out & very well maintained including the tires. Prior to booking with UHaul I visited a website called " Their posted were bad views. My only explanation for that website is that any time a business as big as Uhaul deals with the millions upon millions of customers it's impossible to please everyone. Take a look online and do a Google search and enter the following, "list of bad reviews for Walmart" or do the same search for huge corporations like: Home Depot Target AT&T Dish Network Direct TV Southwest Airlines Check it out & I'm 100% sure you will agree that all businesses have had bad reviews at some point. The amount of bad reviews for Uhaul & all the others I've list are posted by a very few customers percentage wise. I will continue to go to Uhaul in the future for all of my moving needs. UHAUL, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. GREAT JOB!!!!! & THANK YOU!!!!! Timbo ??

Could barely speak English. No help from the owner. Had to wait on the owner to get there. Phone number on the front door to call to get her attention. Very dirty and unorganized. Representative was rude and very short with me. I would never recommend this place to anyone, hard to find, very odd location, hard time maneuvering my crew cab 6ft bed f250 in the parking lot. Overall bad service

My Uhaul broke down in the middle of nowhere, leaked fluid all over. Had to wait 3 hours for them to come and diagnose the problem in 98 degree heat by the side of the road. Turns out it was a cracked radiator they didn't see. Towed, arrived after 8pm at second Uhaul location which they were closed. So they said they would put us up in the crappiest hotel options that actually were unsafe for my mother and I. So we had to spend $230 of our own money on 2 rooms since there was 4 of us. Then we were delayed (had to replace radiator) a day, missed my first day of work, arrived over 24 hours after was expected. And Uhaul offered 200$ total. Which didn't even cover the hotel. Worst experience of my life.

Horrible experience. I've used U-Haul before, and it has never been this bad. First, the employee gave me the wrong truck. It was much larger than I requested, so it did not fit where I needed. The truck also ran very poorly, and was very dirty. I only drove the U-Haul a few miles. I filled it up with gas just to be sure, even though I don't think it changed past the 3/4 mark. I filled it up well past where it was when I had picked it up. The next day, I was charged approximately $10 for fuel, and the contract indicated the fuel was well below where it was when I dropped it off. Luckily, I took a picture of the fuel, but I feel like that should not be necessary. The fuel was VERY obviously WELL over the 3/4 mark, and it was marked about 1/8 of a tank below that mark in the contract I received via e-mail. I have no doubt that this was NOT a mistake, but rather an attempt for whoever did this to take in some extra money. I called to resolve this, and expressed my concerns, and talked to multiple people about the same issue rather than them forwarding the information along. I received an e-mail saying I was being refunded the money, with no follow-up. A week later, U-Haul charged me the same amount and never refunded the promised amount. I called again. I have now explained the situation to TWO MORE PEOPLE, because they said they never received the complaint and have no record of a refund being issued, even though I have it in an e-mail. They said they cannot do anything, but I will have to waste MORE time explaining this to a manager, who can apparently remedy the situation. I have wasted A LOT of time and energy dealing with this issue, which I did everything to avoid by OVERFILLING the fuel tank. At this point, I am furious. Especially because it was over a $10 charge U-Haul doesn't have an easy mechanism to resolve. I will be posting the same thing on Yelp. Thank you.
