The gentleman that I had today was wonderful. He was very helpful and I appreciate greatly the experience i had with UHaul. It was my first experience and I would definately come back. Thank you Tim Stiman for explaining everything out for me and helping me with the best possible affordable route.

Made a reservation on a Fri. for a 6x12 open trailer. Had lots of things going to the transfer station and wanted to pick up some mulch for my wifes flower garden. Go to the u haul place and forgot to put my ball hitch on! Usually I never take it off but the wife had used the truck so I took it off to save some shins! If you know what I mean. Ask the owner if I could borrow one knowing they probably didn't do that he looked at me and said no but I will sell you one! So I drove back home and got mine. No big deal I get back and he said what trailer did you reserve I told him the 6x12 open one he said he did'nt have it reserved under my name. I told him when I called and who I spoke with and he said someone last night had reserved it on line so now I have no trailer for my days work. I asked him about the 5x8 that was there he said that was going out at 11am it's now 9am so he rented me the 5x8 for full price for 2 hours. I got to make one trip to the dump and didn't have time to get and unload mulch. Thanks a lot for the apology and the full rate for 2 hours for the small trailer after screwing up my res.

There service was very good but there was something wrong with the truck. I took the truck back because I felt it was unsafe to drive. I was told that a mechanic would check it out. I did not have time to finish moving today but would call and make arrangement to rent another truck at another time. Other than the truck not working properly , it was clean.

The sales person went out of his way to make sure I was able to get a trailer the same day. As I had to leave first thing the following morning back to Virginia. I really appreciated all his effort and help. Outstanding Service. Thank You!

The location is very convenient and the truck was clean and in excellent working order. I was also offered a free month on a storage locker which I am going to use and am pleased with. The only problem was knowing how to fill the tank to exactly 3/4 full when refilling before returning.

I got a call that the trailer was unsafe and so i could not pick one up. Then i had to get angry and tell the man i NEED one and its a must. Then after a while the manager called and said i could pick one up- he found one for me in Augusta. He was 15mins late for my 6:30pm pick up and was rude and acting put out. I rent Uhaul trailers 2 timmes per year from Waterville Maine. And rent Uhaul box truck 2 times per year from Manheim Pa and your Manheim Uhaul employees ALWAYS are wonderful and pleasant and so helpful. But the employees at Waterville Maine do NOT have it together. This is the second time Ive had issues. Last May I never even left with the trailer I reserved. I reserved an enclosed one and they only had open ones. It was raining here in the Northeast and I had to travel furniture - so an open one would not be an option. And they had no enclosed ones. I feel i always call and reserve ahead at least a week (sometimes a month ahead) and I never know if my reservations are going to work. This is very frusterating and i dont know how to fix it. If there is anyother options for me here in Waterville Maine please let me know. I am not you #1 customer i am sure but I do rent from you 4 times per year for 7 years now...i feel this service here in Waterville Maine is not what it should be and you should know so maybe you can correct it. And it was the manager that was rude.

I first scheduled my reservation for 9:00 to 5:00 for Saturday March 30,2013. I then changed the reservation pick up time to 8:00 am. When I got to the location my reservation had been change from 8:00 to 5:00 to 8:00 to Noon. I did not make this change on line. I explained to the clerk that I needed the truck until 5:00 but he was not at all helpful. He stated that the computer said noon and that was all the time I had. He stated that they had already rented the truck out for noon to somebody else so I had no choice but to return it at that time. He said that I would be able to return it at 12:30 as I had picked it up at 8:20. I returned the truck at 12:50 and another clerk charged me for a second day's rental and insurance stating that the other client they had reserved the truck for was unable to use it now because I was late. I informed this second clerk that the first one said that I had until 12:30 but the second clerk said that since I was 20 minutes late I had to pay for a second day. I informed the second clerk of my original reservation time of 8:00 to 5:00 and the difficulty in having this problem solved when I picked up the truck. He eventually removed the second day rental charges, albeit reluctantly. All in all I was very dissatisfied with the service of UHaul. The shortened time I had with the truck forced me to scramble to locate other trucks to assist me with this move. Still it took me two days to complete a move that should have only taken me one. The only good thing I can say about this experience it that the truck was clean, well maintained and got good gas mileage. However, I will not recommend this UHaul location to any one and I doubt that I will ever use UHaul again.

I feel that the cost adds up to quickly! .99 cents per mile is expensive. then the extra charges if you forget to do something, 25 dollars to sweep out the truck or 30 dollars to go fill it up plus 5 dollars per gallon, come on.. your not giving people a positive feeling about the rental experience. that would just be price gouging!!!

I went in person to the Machias U-Haul to reserve a 6x12 trailer 2 weeks in advance and was assured a trailer would be available. The day before my pick up I was called by the Machias U-Haul and told that a trailer would not be available. All I could do was drive to the next closest U-Haul with an available trailer which was 3 hrs. away. The location of the U-Haul in Waterville, ME was not available on line, I eventually found it by calling U-Haul at the 1-800#. I checked the trailer out with the help of a technician who assured me all was in working order. After stopping about 2/3 of the way home due to traffic held up by a snow storm, I noticed the only rear trailer light that flashed for left turn indicator or emergency flasher , was not flashing. I am dissapointed the technician gave me a trailer that would not indicate left turns. I am dissapointed that I had to drive 6 hrs out of my way to pick up a trailer I reserved 2 wks. in advance and the only compensation I received was an extra day of rental.

Truck was clean in cab but smelled of cigarette smoke. Back of truck had not been swept clean by previous user. Tires were not good and I drove very slow to prevent going off-road. Truck leaked water inside backend passenger side- that is very bad when moving antiques! This is the third truck I used in the past year and the smallest truck- but not the best truck.
