On Monday, May 26, 2008, System members, family and friends from U-Haul Company of Baltimore (Co. 820), U-Haul Company of Metro D.C. (Co. 818), U-Haul Company of Harrisburg (Co. 811) and U-Haul Company of Pittsburgh (Co. 809) joined together to march in Memorial Day parade, which included more than 5,000 participants.
On Thursday, April 24, 2008, members of the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride kicked off their 3 day, 75 mile White House to Lighthouse Challenge. Cheered on by President Bush and many supporters, Soldier Ride traveled from the South Lawn of the White House all the way to Annapolis, Maryland.
