Sally Preparation: U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Storage to South Mississippi
GULFPORT, Miss. (Sept. 14, 2020) — U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage to south Mississippi residents who stand to be affected by Tropical Storm Sally moving through the Gulf of Mexico.
The tropical storm is expected to become a hurricane before making landfall early this week, potentially creating flooding issues
“The Mississippi coast is going to start seeing weather related to Sally as early as today,” said Charles Johnston, U-Haul Company of Mississippi president. “The southern part of the state is already under a hurricane warning and we’re urging those in need to take advantage of our disaster relief assistance program.”
