The location that I rented the U-Haul was outstanding. The reason why I gave a low rating for the experience is because of the mobile check-out was horrendous. It took me nearly an hour to check out the vehicle. I did the mobile check out because I got the vehicle before the store was open. The requirement to get somebody on the phone when someone is picking up the U-Haul after hours is ridiculous. At 6 AM people did not have their phones on because they were sleeping and it took forever to get somebody so I could actually get the vehicle. When I am paying for it with a credit card at the time of check-out and uploading a picture of myself and my drivers license there is no reason that you need to call somebody at 6 AM in order to checkout the vehicle. I would not use the mobile check-in again.Ryan W.

Despite a reservation for a dolly they could not provide. In addition u-haul failed to tell us that this location was the only one nearby that would support one-way rentals. This should be communicated clearly and early! And if you take a reservation then honor the reservation.June B.

I had reserved a truck for 0900 on Sunday, I got an email and phone call confirmation about the order. I used the 24/7 app to pick up my truck because it was before ACE opened up at 1030. When I clicked the button "ready to pick up my truck" it told me that Uhaul would delivery my truck at 1030. So had to wait until an ACE employee opened up the store to request the keys to the truck and then saying they don't give out keys before 1030 but since I had my order request then they'd make an exception. Once I returned my truck same day (6hrs later) following the app that told me to drop keys off in the uhaul box outside, the next day I get a invoice around 0745 with discrepancies. First I only used the uhual for 1 day (17 July from 930am to 3pm) I returned the keys to the box outside of ACE since the uhaul app told me to, it should only be 1 day rental. The second is I was charged with an after hours return but I turned the truck in during work hours at 3pm. Both, ACE and Uhaul need to be on the same page when renting out the trucks using the 24/7 app since ACE only opens their doors at 1030 but yet I was able to reserve the truck for 0900 online. Not sure if I'll ever use uhaul again after this craziness.Erin E.

Equipment was filthy when I picked it up and then felt like I was being judged in the condition of how it was returned though the representative said nothing to me they spent alot of time taking pictures and digging through the trash on the trailer when it was there when I picked trailer up I used trailer to haul two couches no trash was put into trailer.Brennan C.

The reserved equipment was not on-site and they did not have possession of it, the trailer that they finally rented me was not on-site anywhere. They finally gave me another trailer without changing the number on the paperworkJason B.

The young man that helped us was amazing. We had a bad experience at different location, and were not sure if we would ever use uhaul again. Being in a pinch and near this Ace Hardware, we had no choice to try. The experience was so much better, this location and the reservation agent has kept me as a uhaul customer!Vickie M.
Billing was the only issueâ€”returned after hours and the bill I received had extra day charges so I had to call and get it corrected. This took almost an hour-40 minutes on hold and another 15 with an agent to remove the extra charges.Dana G.

Staff at Ace was excellent!! Zero complaints. The truck I rented however, needs to be put in a shop. I am used to driving old worn out vehicles so I had no issue really. People not used to driving a vehicle that badly needs an alignment could definitely be put in a serious situation! Hell, I even ended up in the wrong lane on a turn. I highly recommend placing this truck into maintenance immediately! And no, I don't want a free rental or anything like that. I am genuinely concerned for the next customer.JOSHUA M.

The Uhaul pick up truck I rented was very dirty. Food crumbs everywhere. It looked like it hadn't been clean in awhile. It also smelled of cigarettes which just being in the cab for 5 minutes I started to get a headache. The tire pressure light was on the vehicle along with low washer fluid. I was very disappointed. These vehicles should be inspected regularly and they're not.Jessica R.
Was not ready when I got there. Was told I was overbooked. They tried to give me another one booked me ma'am, I paid for it, they went to go get the keys and somebody had another register was giving it to somebody else . I'm being over charged for going 5 miles round trip and fuel usage that I paid money to refill to just UNDER half a tank...... Uhaul obviously needs to train their employees and Ace Hardware how to properly use the billing software. I am LIVID!!!!!Candace L.
