The location and the employees were great. But whoever puts in the orders for U-Haul needs to learn that when someone is using truck share 24/7 not to put it in the system as a hand delivery. Had to wait until the location to open to start the mobile phone pick-up because someone at U-Haul put it in as â€œHand Deliveryâ€. Other than that it was fine.Timothy T.

The air conditioner went out on the truck and they are an automotive place with a mechanic should have check the truck out before renting it.David P.
I made a reservation at a different location but received a text that it had been transferred to another location as their 10' truck wasn't available. I get to the new location more than 10 miles out of my way and of course they don't have me in their system. Next thing I know I'm told I have to take a 20' truck for twice the cost, but I said that's not necessary since I'm just picking up a couch. We finally compromise w the 15' truck. Of course there's a dead spot where I can't access internet on my phone so I have to walk a block to pick up signal to upload pics of my license. Fine. Go back inside to check out. I tell her my billing zip code has changed but she's in such a hurry that she uses my old zip from my license. Doesn't go through. Updates the zip and now there's an error code from the duplicate attempt and my card blocks the transaction. Cool. Now I have to use my friend's card to check out and Venmo her the money. So I get outside for the walk around inspection and of course the mileage/gas and truck serial number don't add up to what's on my phone. They gave me the wrong truck bc they couldn't find the keys for the truck assigned to me in the system. Whatever. Go pick up the couch and top off w fuel, get back 1.5 hours later to explain that they gave me the wrong truck but I had taken photos of the mileage for them and had the fuel receipt to show that id topped off. Another 15 minutes down the drain while the one girl trained the other girl on how to fix this in the system. What a mess!!!ASHLEYKRISTEN G.

Honestly I would delete this location from you pick up spots. They messed up my pick-up time, tried charging me with 190 miles over what I drove, tried charging me for fuel even though I filled it up.Clee O.

I tried to change my drop of location from VA Beach to my home in Oakland Maine. I was first told that it would be no problem. When I contacted the dispatch?? They said I could not change it. I barely had the trailer over one day on a 3 day use. Now I have to rent another trailer (perhaps I will shop) to trailer the car from VA Beach to Oakland Maine.David N.

It's a small property with a small inventory. I know it'd be costly, but likely a sound investment to increase the size of the property. The staff was incredibly helpful when it came to rectifying the mistakes of the pick up location.NOAH D.

I had no problem with the location. The problem that I had was with the tech support. In order for me to return the truck I had to log onto u-haul.com share my location and check in the truck. But I couldn't share the location because U-Haul.com wouldn't except it and I wound up getting charged extra money because your website didn't work. I am very upset about that part.NICHOLASMARTIN R.

The vehicle air conditioning didn't work. I called road side to assist, the tech came out to see what was wrong. He said the fan clutch was not working causing the A/C not to work. Stated the vehicle needed to be taken in for repair. Saturday 7/24 was my only available day to move my belongings.... I reported this to U-HAUL customer service. Please review. Thank you.JOYCEANN M.

This location was a gas station. I drove the truck under the awning with the music on, I didn't realize it had hit the bumpers that didn't state the height! They didn't provide any signs indicating where to park, I thought I was being helpful. One employee with white hair and blue eyes called me an idiot! After packing, loading and driving all day I lost my temper! I cussed him out. Nothing was damaged, yet he was offensive in calling me an idiot! I feel ashamed that I matched his disrespect, but I'm not the only one he has treated this way! I would never recommend this company to anyone, friends or not!BRANDYANNE H.

I did not originally order the truck from this place but was told me preferred place did not have a truck available, even though when I drove by at 8:30 there were 3 sitting there and then when I drove by again just before noon the same 3 were still there. I had placed my request well ahead of time so I see no reason why I couldn't get a truck from a closer location. That kind of stuff turns me against a company. That being said Autoworks Automotive Repairs is a really great place to deal with.Susan K.
If doing mobile check in/pick up, make sure to check the back for items you asked for (like dolly, blankets, etc). The mobile check in did not tell us to check and (go figure) they had forgotten the dolly. Had to make a trip back to the store. Otherwise great service!!!Mark H.

The location was fine. The Uhaul truck leaked after a rain storm and my clothes and mattress, along with a lot of sentimental letters and photos are ruined! And even though I paid for Uhaul insurance, it doesn't cover for water damage.KATHERINEANNE W.
