I can't speak to this location specifically but I am now making it my personal mission to tell everybody never to use u-haul. I cannot even begin to list all of the mistakes this company made throughout what should have been a simple move process. Behind the scenes U-Haul lost practically every single reservation or made a reservation then canceled it without telling us or changed the location or didn't honor a reservation or changed the names on the reservations and wouldn't let me talk to a customer service agent because my name disappeared off the account somehow. They also had my email wrong and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Most of the customer service reps were excellent except the people in the scheduling office hang up on you if you complain about any of these problems. I will never use U-Haul again and neither should you. They also don't keep track of what movers have insurance and which don't which is shocking to me in a city like New York where I would think a lot of the buildings require insurance. I scheduled a pickup for example, for a certain time on the Upper East Side then they called me the day before and told me the closest place with that equipment was New Rochelle an hour away outside the city. And that was just the beginning of the fun.

CARLOS TI booked the Uhaul 10' truck. The truck was not clean at all, inside and out. It was a very old truck and did not even have a connection to charge my phone. The only thing was that I could get my job done and a few things done. However, it was not clean and comfortable.

JOSEPH BThe blanket pack of 10 we ordered, was not at the location, a hand truck was added to the bill that we did not rent, this was sorted. The truck was mostly clean, with a few pieces of paper trash in it. The service was quick and efficient.

LUIS AI think the attendant that hands over the key should allow us to park our personal vehicles In the same spot we grab the uhaul. I had to waste like 20 mins of my time looking for street parking and then walk 15 mins to get the uhaul which took away time from my rental it's just not the best location for sure but also we should be able to park our personal vehicles on the property.

Alan WIf your planning to leave your own vehicle there's no place to park.They have vehicle's parked on the street if your lucky to get one of those spots you can park.The drivers area was clean the loading area wasn't.Reading another's review they don't fill the windshield washing fluid

LIBERATO LThis location relies on the app check in. My app was slow and glitchy and the gas station attendant didn't speak English well and we weren't able to communicate. When I picked up my van, three of four tires had a low pressure warning (low 40s out of max 90 psi per tire), there was only 50 miles of gas in the tank, the windshield wiper fluid was completely out and there was an error message for the parking brake. But there was no one to really talk to and after spending nearly 30 minutes trying to get the app to work and contacting customer service three separate times, I was running late AND there was no one to flag any of these issues to. I will never rent from this location again.

PETER LToilets were clean but it's a gas station in East Harlem NY so we didn't plan to stick around. The drop off app did NOT work well and was a huge hassle. We finally phoned customer service to complete the return. The app has a lot of glitches. For example, it did not like ANY of our photos even when we exactly replicated the requested picture. It also kept locking up on various devices. I would not recommend to folks that they use the app for pick-up/drop-off. Small thing but kind of odd that there was no drop box and we were told to leave the keys on the gas station sales counter.

JONATHAN DReally positive experience renting from Adam here. Easygoing demeanor, clear and straightforward terms and directions, they even provided a guide to how much to fill up when returning the vehicle. Vehicle worked perfectly fine. I'm so glad I went here over any other place.
Andrew COver charged hidden fees after the return
STEVEN FI pre-reserved a dolly with my cargo van and the clerk was just like “yeah sorry we don’t have anything. I took it off your bill”. Not really what you want to hear when you’ve reserved a dolly and were counting on it to help you with the move. Pretty unacceptable. Not blaming the clerk specifically - but the system shouldn’t allow me to reserve a dolly that doesn’t exist
BRAHIM EI decided that I wanted a dolly, they were none on hand, but since I hadn’t ordered it ahead of time, not their fault.
ANN EI was given incorrect information that resulted in an overcharge.
