They tried to rip me off, the gas was not full when I acquired the moving truck and they tried to charge me for gas I did not use, the vehicle was poorly maintained and Maintenance was need as the truck did not drive well and brake warning light engaged while driving.Lamar B.

Employees were not friendly nor professional. During my scheduled pickup time for the truck the cashier/employee was scrolling through Facebook on her phone for the majority of the time. When dropping off the truck the cashier/employee was hesitant to say â€œHiâ€ after I said hi first. Typically the employee should at the very least greet the customer.celeste B.

This location is a total mess. The service is totally unprofessional. The location is not safe at all. To complete the check in the gas station clerk pulled up an empty paper and asked wrote down all the info. She had no idea about how to do check ins. Then she called someone to confirm the rental and go over all the info that I already provided. I rented the truck until 4 pm. But they forced me to bring it back at 3 pm. And they stated that they will charge late fee if I don't come on time. It is a total disaster. I will definitely not pick any truck from Uhaul again since they work with those unprofessional people with locations that have no safety whatsoever. Never ever again Uhaul.Murat Y.
The interior wasn't spotless but I am used to that. It was tidy. The oil light was on and I was assured that that was in the system - a little unnerving, though. For me, the location was perfect and pick-up was easy.MaryAnn T.
The person to give out the uhaul was not present. The gas station cashier had to call him and run everything over the phone. I also reserved a utility dolly, they did not have any supplies or equipment. When returning the vehicle the person still was not present. The cashier took down my info without even verifying that it was correct. And then my card was charged way over the amount. When I called he said oh well it was out of his hands and hung up. I arrived at 8:45 for my 9:00 reservation and the lady behind the counter said she didn't know anything about my reservation I pulled up my confirmation and then she said let me call him and was giving out my credit card number and other info over the phone then after about 25 minutes of me waiting in a hot store with no air and it was 95Â° outside I finally got the Uhaul when I got on the freeway it was putting and it was a few lights on on the dash and at 12:30 I get a bank notification that they charged my card again so I called where I picked the truck up from and the same lady who knew nothing answered and I explained to her that I was charged again and she said let me tell him who is him idk but he said I wasn't so he then tell me that if I was I need to call Uhaul and I told him I didn't get the truck from Uhaul I got it from him I ended up having to call Uhaul and after being on hold close to a hour still nothing I returned the truck and still didn't get my money back from the second charge I will never use Uhaul againPorsha J.
I have had a good experience with U-Haul.untill Thursday 7/2/20 .....9:00am reservation...at east 18604 st.claire ave. The only complaint I have is that I did not feel the truck was very safe once I got on the freeway and I would hit the brakes the truck would start to slide I don't know if the tires were bad or if the weather was just raining but I did not feel really safe in the truck and also it sounds like the transmission was pulling but other than that I would recommend that loacation it was quick and easy and I think the price was pretty fairpatricia C.
After completing the pick up process, and getting vehicle to destination, I realized it was nasty in both sections of the truck. I had to have the movers put my stuff in a nasty cab. In addition there was layers of ashes and dirt all on the interior. It began to rain, and from the rusted front windshield in came rain all over the passenger side. When asked for discount because of issues, I was told to go to uhaul websites to complain. Not a good experience.Xzondra B.

The truck must have been one of the first trucks ever bought. The truck had so much play in the steering wheel I feared for my life driving it. With this Covid-19 the truck was nasty and had a coffee mug left from the last person so they are not cleaning after usuals. The guy in there was really nice and helpful. I've done business with this U-Haul place on several occasions and have Always received great customer service :-)! Would definitely recommend! The only issue I've experienced/seen is that there are a plethora of deep potholes/sunken holes that could damage your car.YOLANDA L.

I was verbal assaulted while picking up the uhaul, and chased out of the store by the same patron when returning. The uhaul has completely bald tires and 2 non-working wiper blades (it was snow/slush outside and that was really unsafe to be driving). We had to add mileage because we couldn't take the highway safely.Erin T.

This was the worst experience I've had with Uhaul. The truck was filthy dirty that I had to mop and sweep in order to put my furniture. They did not have my dolly as reserved and the gas tank was not even a quarter tank. I ended up having to pick up another dolly in another location and they still had the nerves to charge me for the miles wasted having to go pick it up from another location after I already left the original place I was supposed start from. I was even told that I can just go get one my self at home depot since they decided to give the dolly I had reserve to who ever came first. I was told that this is come first serve. The man in charge of the rentals gave my rental to another person even though I booked ahead of time. It was not a smooth process and it made me late for my moving help to begin. I would not recommend uhaul to a friend because of this experience.Alexa S.

I rent the U-Haul you had bed bugs in the U-Haul I just moved in a new place and the bed bugs came with me off the U-Haul I told the man when I went back to return the U-Haul I told him he had bed bugs he didn't say anything all he said was let's go out and check the mileage gas and then he put the U-Haul up so I know he knew they were bed bugs he acted like it was nothing I feel he should have charged me ... I was very disappointed I would never never come back there to rent nothingArlene D.
