KATY MWe called this location approximately 9 hrs before arrival to request drop of at the other location in same city and was told by a guy named Michael that we could. Upon arrival to the other location we were told that we would have to pay an additional 200.00 for dropping the unit off at that location so we had to keep the unit until the next day and drop it off at the above location. I was told by the same Michael who told us that we could drop it off at the other location that the other location personnel lied and that there was no extra charge for dropping off at the other location. 1 trip 2 misleading situations. A very unhappy customer. I will not be using UHaul again for further situations.

Randy kBad experience! Picked a location that had trucks located on the storage site to make both location and travel time easy. Arranged for movers to load the truck at a certain hourly rate. When I arrived to pick the truck up, I was advised that the truck I had reserved was OUT OF SERVICE AND THERE WAS NO REPLACE TRUCK ON SITE. When I asked why I had not be notified either the day before or the morning the day of, there was no explanation given except that this experience (ie., truck down, out service, the morning of pickout with the customer being notified. While I was able to find another truck some 20 miles away (the original location about 7 miles away) it cost me an extra $150 since these movers worked on a minium charge (i.e $220 per hour for 2 men), regardlss of whether they were working or sjust sitting around until another truck arrived. Candidly, UHaul should reimburse me for extra money I paid. At a minimum, I should have been notified that the truck I had reserved was out of service so I could have tried to arrange for another rental to fit the mover's schedule. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DAVID CI explained my situation, and the staff advised me to try to sort it out with the customer service department. In the meantime, they will have my check out on hold. I even gave them a case number. I was unpleasantly surprised the next day when they applied the charges without considering my case or contacting me.

DAVID FNo after hours drop off, treating people like they are criminals taking photos of them and time consuming pickup and drop off. I've rented many, many times and never had such difficult interactions for a simple transaction.

Kurt DTerrible location/ very bad neighborhood. No clear signage or viable after hours drop area since lot gated off. Had to search for key drop box since it is on the inside of a locked gate. Should not be advertised as a 24/7 drop location. No receipt sent to me after drop off. A homeless man was actually shooting up drugs on the side of the building.

David RHow about actually closing at the time they tell u website said they close at 5pm I get there at 4:20pm everything is locked up they didn't give me a code so I can retrieve my car I had to drive to another location after I filled it up to get the code from the manager then had to drive back to park the u haul and I probably got charged for another day plus the gas and miles I went over even tho the manager said I wouldn't be charged WORST U-HAUL LOCATION by far do not recommend and will never use again 👎👎

Thomas MI returned the vehicle a day early on a Saturday, apparently this facility is closed on the weekends, so I followed the instruction posted for the return. On Monday they sent me a receipt charging me for an additional day since they didn't receive the vehicle until they opened on Monday. I called and they said they were not able to credit me but gave me another number to call to get the credit. When I called the new number, they said they couldn't credit me that I needed to go back to where I dropped off the vehicle. This is some scam, I was told to drop the vehicle at a place they knew would be closed, then they charge for an additional day knowing I dropped the vehicle off on time. Then know one is authorized to do the credit. I will never use U-Haul again. You owe me $40.00 for the extra day and $15.00 for the extra day insurance. I will tell everyone I know never to use U-Haul.

Ines BIt took them 5 hrs to get me into a truck because they could not apply my corporate voucher for a employer paid move They were very nice but that was not their fault but it did happen When I went to the second location to obtain my trailer they told me I had to put my vehicle on the trailer myself I am not a trained tow truck driver and I am actually handicapped I asked for a supervisor and he told me no one would help me and it is not their responsibility That should have been explained before arrival what if I was in my wheelchair or alone? The truck had horrible fumes coming through the vents when traveling uphill and my bird was in the carrier strapped into the front seat and he was dead when I arrived and I had a asthma attack from the fumes

LAURENCE LDid not have my equipment Iike promised. Went to another location and still didn’t have my equipment. Was charged for an item I didn’t not receive and didn’t not credit me back. Was behind 50 min because of uhaul error and unwillingness to check stores stock with ordered equipment.

Vincent VThey did not put the brake light device on the trailer hitch on right. The device ended up falling mid trip. When asked about after hours drop off they did not give any instructions. They told me in city only returns. So provided me with in accurate information.
