Everything was great customer service was great the only thing I saw that needs improvement is the the street traffic sign needs to allow U-turns.

When we rented the trailer, we were very explicit that we needed a night drop off and selected this location because they are gated and the website said they would send a security code to allow us through the gates to drop off at night. Unfortunately, they did not provide a security code before hand, and it was not sent as a part of the drop off procedure, which meant we could not get through the gates to drop off the trailer, and there was nowhere viable to park outside the gates. After 10 minutes on the phone on hold with the first supposed help person from the U-Haul help line, I hung up and tried the number that was on the side of the building for after hours help. That line just gave me a recording saying they weren't open; come back tomorrow. After another 35 minutes on the phone with the U-Haul helpline, the very friendly and courteous lady, who was trying to help redirected us to a different facility for drop off. When we got to that location, we were able to drop the trailer in the un-gated yard, but the U-Haul app already said that our return was complete and did not give me the option of inputting any information or proof of return at this new location (pics, etc.). The next day, after being unable to raise that facility by phone, I called the U-Haul helpline again and was actually scolded by the woman for calling the “Arizona help desk†the previous night instead of the “Nevada help desk†and was told “we don't do after hours drop offs for trailers in Nevada; that is only for trucks.†That was the extent of her “help.†(Note: there is no specific state listed on the help number. It is simply one U-Haul help desk, and there was never any mention -website, app, help desk or contract - about trailers being exempt from after hours drop offs.) So we drove by the location where we had dropped the trailer to be sure that they had checked it in. They had found the trailer, but had not checked it in because they did not have any transfer paperwork. After we spoke, the very professional and empathetic young man assured me that he would go ahead and initiate the transfer, and advised me to follow up with U-Haul, to be sure that they knew of the situation, so that I would not be double charged for a drop off at an “unauthorized location.†I had already submitted a comment on the app and had received an auto-response that they would review the comment and get back with me within a couple of days. (!) When I woke up on Monday, now the 3rd day of the U-Haul saga, and, at this point, back home in Arizona, I had two voicemails from U-Haul with the first stating that there was an urgent problem; I needed to call right away, and a second voicemail placed about a half hour later, saying they had found the trailer and apologizing for the inconvenience. I called back and received a profuse apology, and was assured there would be no additional charges. So, in final analysis, everything ended well enough, but an apology does not make up for what turned out to be a three hour headache trying to return the trailer, and two additional days verifying that it had been securely received. Not a good time.
Dana T.Nothing! Nathan was incredible and helpful at check-in and the drop-off process was seamless!

Peter M.We were charged with damage to the vehicle. Knowing we weren't in an incident, I called and the first person who answered the call said the vehicle was checked in without damage. When I asked if there was no damage why was I charged. The call was then forwarded to the person who applied the charge. I asked for photos before and after photos and they were not provided.
