I’ve never had a worse rental experience! Booking details kept changeing leading up to booking. Truck not clean. Pick up location staff not helpful and would not come out from behind bullet proof glass. Custom service on phone was not helpful. Asked for phone call to discuss charges and instead my credit card has been charged without approval. Contracts in miles and truck used kms. It was all a bad dream!

The only thing I would mention is making the availability of the added tools to be sure. I added Dolly as an addon through app, that was confirmed before, but during pickup I was told, its not available, and I had to hustle for it for different locations and I ended up buying my own. Please get the added tools/ equipment arranged by the time of pickup for the next customers, if not available please keep the app updated, so the customer knows on time and can arrange its own . Other than that the experience was good.
VIKAS VThis was a gas station, not a U-Haul facility. Employee didn't know what he was doing as he worked for the gas station, not U-Haul. Had to do rental on-line. Would have preferred to talk to someone face to face. Spoke to someone on phone. Did not appreciate having to give personal information over the phone in a public place. Employee didn't know where truck was. It was behind the building.
Joanne WPlease ensure that all equipment as reserved is in the truck. I was instructed to attend an alternative location to pick up blankets and a hand cart.

Cindy MThere was no depot, one person supporting the store, so we stood in the tiny gas station while he was on the phone with someone at the station. They tried charging me $24 for the $17 safe drive insurance, tried to take a picture of the credit card on the cashier's personal phone to send to the depot. The entire process was frustrating and took far too long. They were very ill prepared to support and I will never pick up a uhaul not at a direct dealer again. I'll be honest, if I needed to rent a uhaul again and this depot was the only option, I'd cancel and attempt to have a private rental.

Had to call in to find out. The employee at drop off was kind enough to print out everything. I have had very good service at Century and Regent locations in the past.

Mohammed WEverything about your reservation and online system is a mess. I can hardly believe just how awful the whole thing was. What even is the point of making a reservation if you can't honour it? What even is the point if when you change it you cancel everything including the moving blankets that I asked for? The guy at the pick up location couldn't read my drivers license and told me it was expired. All the information that I gave you when I made my "reservation" including credit card info had to be give to this stranger who isn't even employed by U-haul. I was not able to get the blankets that I needed because of this whole soo-called "system." I will be sure to go out of my way to avoid having to use it and your company again.
jason HStation attendant there could not review the truck, said the manager would come and do it. Never received a phone call from him saying the truck was fine. Next day Uhaul dispatch called to ask when I would return the truck. As well as when I picked up the truck at the pickup location this location wasn’t listed, so I had to call Uhaul and wait on hold to tell them I’ll be dropping it off here. Should be simpler than this.

DANNY BThe vehicle needed a good exterior wash. Previous renter did a highway trip, bug splatter all over front. The box had not been swept out. Amongst the dirt were 3 coins. Other than that the service was good & a bonus was that the gas was 5 cents a litre cheaper than anywhere else.
