The poor guy running a very busy gas station and he is hooking a trailer up in the back! He was running back to front to back trying his damdest to keep everyone happy! He succeeded but I felt sorry for the guy. When someone is coming to get a trailer maybe have a helper on hand!Kimberley R.

Reservation was from 9am to 5pm. Was told on the morning of the reservation that the van wouldn't be ready until 10, and they needed it back before 4 to give to someone else. When I made my reservation online a week prior, it showed many "guaranteed appointment" notes, etc on the website. This was apparently not a guarantee. I was still able to accomplish what was needed, but had to rush to accommodate this location's delay and need for early return.David R.

I really don't appreciate the fill to what it was policy, instead of it starting full and then fill before you return. in my case it was a 1/4 tank at the start, and then very finiky getting to 1/4 again and with high gas prices now, I didn't want to overfill. Waiting almost half an hour to pick up because the staff also work at the gas station. I declined the coverage when I booked this order online and declined it in person twice when I picked it up because my credit card has this rental coverage. However, I was still charged with CDW. I just wanted to say the young man who helped me was excellent. I called him and told him I could be a little late dropping off the truck and he told me not to worry. When it is -40 having more than 1/8 of a tank of gas is a good practice. Having an available van that is not stuck in ice, also good. Making us wait over an hour to find a van that was not stuck is unacceptable. Having one person man the gas pumps and take care of rentals is ridiculous. Was told we would get a discount because of the issues and we did not. Was over charged kilometers. Will NEVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN and I rent a lot.Caroline G.

They did not seem to know I was coming for a vehicle and thus it was not cleaned and ready to go. Vehicle was covered with snow and some tires had low pressure. Friendly service overall and they prepared the vehicle as I waited.STEVEN H.
Having a second person working there would be very beneficial. We had to constantly wait for people to pay for their gas before being served. The employee did their best to balance everything, however we waited over 30 minutes to obtain and return the truck. Also, the dolly we requested was broken / no other of that kind.MARCALLEN B.

I pointed out that the check engine light was on. The agent insisted that it was OK because I had insurance so if something happened I'd be OK. I mentioned that the vehicle was not running the way it was supposed to and I was dismissed and told to take it anyways. The vehicle was not properly shifting gears the entire time and should not be on the road until it is checked by a mechanic.Edina-lil P.

Location smelt very bad, cashier was fine though. The truck was not swept out before we got it, the engine light was on and it need windshield washer fluid. The truck worked fine for our purposes though.JASON M.
Every thing was very well organized from booking to pickup to drop off. It was my first time using this type of service and I was a little nervous about possible delays. But it was smooth. My only concern was that it was in a small lot at a gas station with vehicles coming in and out. It was extremely hard and dangerous to back the van out of its parking spot. I think the company should turn the vans around when they do their inspection so they are ready to drive away safely. Especially if many are not used to driving a larger vehicle.EARL K.
Not sure if this small box will have enough space to say all that I need to. 1. I have paid for a dolly that I did not receive! I called the employee after I arrived at my storage unit and asked him to take it off of my bill but he said that it would be handled "when I turned in the truck". It obviously has not been. I was charged for it. 2. The truck was three hours late! 3. When I arrived to pick the truck and car transporter up it took exactly 53 mins before I received the keys to the truck. The young man that was renting the equipment had no idea what he was doing. It was a disaster. He ended up cancelling my previous order with my preferred drop off location and changed it to a place 20 miles away. Then he claimed that he did that to give me a discount. BS, it was actually more than my original quote. Then he tried charging me twice for the car hauler. Then he said that he cleared the charge but of course he didnt and I was double charged. 4. The truck was filthy inside, I had to stop at a car wash and clean it out. It also smelled like BO from the previous user. 5. The "check engine light" came on and off constantly. Truck ran like it needed a tune up. The brakes were worn out and since I was towing a car hauler it was such a headache. 6. I tried to reserve my truck at an actual UHaul rental location but this was apparently the only place that had a 15ft. truck. When I related to the customer service person that I had rented there before she cut me off mid sentence and said "Sir, all of our equipment is very well maintained and the truck that you are going to get is new" - That was all bs, the truck had 52K miles and ran like crap. 7. Just a constant disappointment all around. Being from the states I feel like they are better managed there. In the past I would have recommended UHaul to anyone but I have been twice disappointed here. Would not recommend this location to anyone.Walter W.

Vehicle was not cleaned at all. I had to clean and wipe it down myself in order to take it off the lot. The person behind the counter has terrible customer service skills and barely helped us out. Would never go back here. I would rather drive across the city to another location. I brought the vehicle back 2 hours late and was charged an extra 50.00 even though I had gone UNDER my mileage allowance, and its only suppose to be 19.95 per day. The math didn't add up at all but I wasn't about to waste time arguing with the person who barely knew what they were doing.MICHAEL L.

Check engine light was on. The gas tank was only 1/8 full (32 miles to E).Cab of truck was dirty with trash and I had to clean the windows to properly see out of them. The box of the truck was also not clean and had the furniture mats strewn about haphazardly. To top it all off the dolly I rented was not equally lubricated and pulled to the right. I had rented from a different Uhaul location previously and expected the quick pickup of a ready to go truck. Instead I had to ask for a brush to clear a pile of snow off the windshield. The truck box and cab were full of mud and clearly had been used for a landscaping job of some sort. The truck was in no condition to move household items (it's actual purpose), wasted an hour of my time making it somewhat clean enough to use. I will not rent from Uhaul again!Brian W.

I am sorry to let you know that my experience with the U-Haul rental today was poor. Initially i reserved a van but the agent did not even apologize when he told me the van is not returned. i was okay to truck and he mentioned i have to be back by 1 pm as there are other renters. i used the rental to haul some left over lumbar and yard waste and hurried back to the location arriving at 12:30. i saw the agent using a broom earlier therefore instead of me going back home to sweep the leaves i asked the agent if i can borrow it so that i can sweep the leaves. he was very arrogant and said he would charge me $ 10 cleaning fee and he will not let me borrow the broom. i paid the cleaning fee and the rest of my balance and left as a very unhappy customer.Ephrem G.

I was very unhappy not so much with the location but the UHAUL booking system which totally got my order wrong. We ordered a cargo van and I clearly told the representative we needed it till 2am . The clerk at this location had us only rented till 7pm the same day and that wouldn't work for what we needed. So instead they forced us to take a much larger moving van which was very stressful to have and drive compared to the cargo van. As well we had the cargo van originally booked at our storage centre on Century in Winnipeg and this location was way out of our way. All I did was phone in to arrange a 30 minute earlier pick up without telling us they switched the location of our pick up. very unhappy with this latest rental.AL PITCH A.

My first and last time using the service. The self-checkout was not working. I had to wait to be served by an extremely rude employee that told me I could not use the total interval of time I scheduled, and I had to return earlier because someone had also rented the same truck. And to get worst, the gas station that was working in the morning had later a warning informing that the gas pump was out of order, which later I discovered was false. I had no option other than to pay to fill the truck tank, doubling the cost I should pay. Nevermore, I'll use this service again.Alvarim M.

My first and last U-Haul I'll ever rent. Had the poorest experience!! My pick up location changed with less the. 24 hour notice. Effected my plans a lot. And I had booked it a month prior and U-Haul couldn't get a trailer to my set location. Very unprofessional and rude customer service when I asked to change over vehicles to tow the trailer as the one I had booked it with had giving me trouble.
