Honestly, this was one of the worst U-Haul experiences I’ve had. When I arrived to pick up the truck, the employee seemed extremely frantic, disorganized, and unsure of what she was doing. It took around 20 minutes just to get the truck sorted out and handed over to me. Once I got inside the truck, I immediately noticed that the shifter was nearly broken, and the brakes were in very poor condition. These are obviously major safety concerns and something that should have been checked before the vehicle was given to a customer. The return was just as frustrating. I was there for approximately 40 minutes because the employee seemed to have difficulty figuring out the return process. Since the truck’s odometer was displaying miles and I’m in Canada, there was also a lot of confusion over converting the mileage to kilometres. The whole process was unnecessarily slow and disorganized. Overall, the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. The condition of the vehicle was concerning, and the pickup and return processes were both handled very poorly. I expected a much more professional and organized experience from U-Haul.

The location was the farthest from my destination in Winnipeg, there were another close by location which I could have dropped off. The reception was not helpful in guiding and required we parked the 26’ truck in a tight location which could have caused damage for a single driver.
Hamzat AReserved a truck a week prior to moving went to location to pickup and done all the online pre-questions. When I got there the worker told me they had no 15’ trucks available. I asked why and she had no answer for me. She then told me to go to another location and check there but I had no time to go. She then put me on hold while she helped other customers and it was really busty and now I’m waiting to even get another truck for half an hour. Finally got me a 10’ truck which was not my ideal option because I had a lot to move and now had to make multiple trips and I had people waiting for me to help me move. Very poor customer service, will not book here again
