Have the hitch at the ball changed , so you can actually put a pad lock on it , I didn't feal safe with no way to lock it on, so no one could steal it !.

We had to drive all the way from Williston to Watford to get a truck. Our reservations was for Saturday at 7am , was not happy with our help in Williston at the main branch by centennial homes. Will be leaving negative feedback on multiple sites due to poor experience from Williston. WATFORD WAS GREAT, GRAND PRAIRIE HOTEL UHAUL IN WILLISTON WAS GREAT.

Put a jack on the trailer I pulled muscles in my back lifting the trailer to hook it up because y’all are too cheap to put a $25 jack on the trailer.

Make your car trailer tongues longer and add 4ft to the overall hauling length of the trailer. Just because a college degree says it'll work on the computer doesn't make it so. Get actual drivers to design your equipment and it might work. There were 3 trailers at this location for about 2 weeks before I got mine. Mine had been there for about 3 days. Showed up dirty, and left dirty with me. I believe the guy running the location simply didn't want to do anything.

Pricing is a major issue at this point. Rented the same size trailer to make the exact same trip October 2018. This Rental was over $250 more expensive. The only reason that I can be given for the price increase is because of supply and demand. The more demand there is the more is charged. Both pickup and drop off location gave us the same answer. Must be awesome business to be able to price gouge your customers and be able to get away with it!

The building is the end of a storage unit there was no heat or windows and there was boxes everywhere not to mention the dust and dirt piled up. The man that waited on me wasn’t very polite in fact I stood there for a good 10 min before the man even asked if I had a reservation.

Keep your word. Made the reservation at the beginning of February for a 26' rental on 2/24/19. Called Uhaul on 2/22 to confirm everything would be ready and was told yes no problem. Was called by Uhaul on 2/23 & told my rental was somewhere in Florida and that I would have to settle for a 15' truck. Absolutely ruined my move, took over twice as long and outside temperature was -25F, had to pay my hired help far more than I had budgeted for all due to Uhaul failing to follow thru.

Something ended up coming up and didn't end up needing to use the unit. But it was fast and very easy when making the reservation. And they made sure to check with me the day after to make sure right.

I was late on returning the equipment and apparently they had this particular uhaul reserved for another person. When they called me, they were VERY POLITE!! I was very thankful for their understanding being on a long stressful haul. I don't know if calling people is protocol but I'm so thankful for their calm and understanding demeanor.

I called and asked for a U-Haul that would seat 3, asked if the U-Haul I reserved online had the three seats he assured me yes it did. As we also reserved a trailer to pull our vehicle. I had reserved a week or more prior. When we picked up the U-Haul the older gentleman was very short with us, wouldn’t explain how the U-Haul trailer attached and secured to our vehicle told us to read the pamphlet. Didn’t make us aware that the U-Haul had damage to the back right corner where we stored our lighter more personally sentimental items and our 55’ Sony we’re located. Not only did the U-Haul not have three seats, so we had to pay to have one of us transported but we hit a bad rain storm and our tv and a lot of personal items were ruined. The entire U-Haul trailer was filled with condensation and out things were not all ruined but soaked, very disappointed.

Not so much this place, but I reserved my truck and trailer in advance and was told I would receive a call about where to pick them up in Dickinson. We have 3 uhaul locations. I was called the day before and told I would have to pick up my truck in Watford City! Was told I could keep the truck for 3 extra days! I turned it in earlier than the 4 days I was originally given. Watford city is an hour and a half away from my house so I had to fill my own vehicle and have my wife drive me.( no one could answer if the car hauler would work on my van) then it took almost 50 dollars in gas to get from Watford City to Dickinson!!! How about a slight refund on something? I will not give a bad rating or publicly shame uhaul, but please do something to make this right. I have used uhaul numerous times and this is the only one that left a bad taste in my mouth....

This location should be shut down they were rude and did not know how to safely hook up a trailer. The trailer was wet and dirty inside. They wanted us to move other trailers out of way to get the trailer we were getting. They did not cross the safety chains when hooking up. The supply's (moving blankets moving dolly) were not in the trailer and we had to ask for them.

The truck was not at the location. I wasted one day and my gas to go pick up and then was charged for additional mileage even though they said I would not. I only drove where I had to. I don’t enjoy cruzing in a Uhaul It is a crime to charge me 60 bucks to deal with this mess. Look up the notations on this contract and you will see the story. Obviously communication needs to be worked on. The drop off site just started so I called your representative to clarify we were good. Now you charge me? This was not authorized and I would like it credited back. I should charge you for my wasted day at my rate that I get paid which is 55.00 an hour. Do you want to exchange bills? We can.

Trailer was not prepared before pickup. Tires were all very low on Air, I had to check and fill them myself, lighting wiring was loose and blinked off and on while traveling- the connector in-line was the problem, not my vehicle. Safety chain for the brakes was ground down from dragging, the facility did change that before I left.

I have picked up 2 vehicles and 2 trailers from U-Haul in the last month. Every item I rented I have had to clean when I got it home and made sure it was clean when I dropped it off. The only reason I initial the contract is because the pickup process already takes so long I just want to get going and don’t want to wait for someone to clean them up. I feel the equipment should already be clean when I pick it up.

First of all, we had made a reservation, in Minot 2 weeks prior, one night before our move date we got a call telling us that we have to travel 130 miles away to pick up a bigger truck because none of what we ordered was available, When we went to pick up the truck the guy has to call because he tells us we owe $500.00 more than our quote was for, then as we are leaving he tells us we might want to check the oil and transmission every time we fill up. Which I thought odd. Got truck home and noticed that the floor in the cab on the passenger side was sticky and dirty, Opened the back to find that it was dirty and had not been swept out, had to clean the floor and box of the truck before loading. After we load up I check engine oil and find that there is no oil cap, after driving 130 miles across dusty North Dakota, I find and replace the Cap and start on the way. The truck seems to be driving funny and reving way up, and the transmission seems to be slipping, so I pulled in to get gas and check the transmission to find it over a quart low. Had to add oil to get it to drive right. The person running this place should be fired for not only not doing his job, but for knowing that there were problems, and sending a customer across the country with it anyway

Bring down prices budget has much lower prices by nearly half the only problem with them is they do not have enclosed trailers and your trailers are as much as a truck. WHY?

Get more trucks, I had to drive 3hrs to get a truck n wasn’t properly compasated for it. The man in Watford City was rude. He try to charge me 178 bucks (suppose to be 100) bcuz I was paying cash he didn’t even care to listen to me clearly stating I had a card on file. Terrible. I’m a single mom the move from minot to Williston was hard enough he really stressed me out

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and pick up was fast. They made sure that everything was working properly before I left.

I came after hours, could not get into the lock box, spoke to national U-haul line twice, tried to call the local number numerous times, no answer. National U-Haul tried to call local number numerous times with no answer. Finally found the keys to the truck under the seat. Never did get a call from the Watford City U-Haul ever regarding my issues or return my calls. Very very poor customer service. Will not EVER be using that particular place again.
