Tried to charge me 197 for fuel fill up and going over mileage. Thank god I took a picture in the lot of the pick up location. I returned it more than 100 miles allowed and over where the fuel needed to be. They are dishonest.Jacob J.

Nothing wrong with this location; my problem is having to drive 170 miles round trip to pick up the truck. Then; U Haul has the audacity to indicate I received "free" extra mileage. Really? I dont remember being reimbursed for the extra $ 100 in fuel I shelled out or the 3 hours of my time when I intended to be packing up. The bean counters are going to destroy your company....awful way of engendering loyalty. So....for customer service I give you a big fat 0.Lallaine H.

I just want to say after driving an hour to get the trailer. All was good until I saw the tire wobbling, so I pulled over and called uhaul. They said they were sending a truck out to pick it up, with our stuff still in it. My family and I sat on a very busy freeway for 6 hours!! Trying to have your wife and kids go to the bathroom on a busy freeway was ridiculous! Then it was towed to my dads house and we had to use 2 trucks to unload the trailer from in front of his house and take it to the storage unit. Honestly I thought we rented the trailer for that. Then they changed me for some kind of damage of a $184.30!! For something that they haven't taken care of.Kenneth S.

I am never recommending UHaul again for any moves or using Uhaul again period. The customer service at both Watford City, ND and Cheyenne were excellent, but the mismanagement of where trucks actually were was unacceptable. I had attempted to reserve a 20' 1 way truck online, more than a month before my move. Before my pickup date, I called the Uhaul location I was going to get it at and they said that traffic control would call me for details. I never got that call, but got a text from Uhaul saying it was going to be in Minot at a different location. When the pickup day came, I called that Uhaul location (that was from the text) and they informed me that they didn't have a truck. They checked with traffic control and apparently I was â€œupgradedâ€ to a 26' truck but would have to pick it up in Dickinson ND (3.5hrs from Minot). That was simply unacceptable because I needed to load all my stuff that day and there was not going to be enough time to drive 7hrs round trip for everything. I frantically checked for other Uhaul trucks online and luckily found the 20' one in Watford City (2hrs) away which was much more doable. I went and got that truck, but was charged extra mileage from Watford City to Minot even though I was forced to do so from their poor traffic management. The next day I got a call from traffic management asking when I was going to drop off the truck in Cheyenne. They were really wanting me to turn it in early even though I had paid use of the truck through Saturday. It took everything in my being to be cordial and not tell them to off after getting jerked around the day before. The truck drove fine, was well equipped and the physical people at the Uhaul locations were nice, but I am using Penske from this point forward.Taylor C.

Location was great however I am little disappointed in the overall logistics of U-haul. Ordered pickup in Stanley, ND but had to drive 90 miles one way to Watford for pickup. Said I was dropping in Spearfish but had to drop off in Sturgis. So overall I traveled over 200 miles extra with my rental.Kyle H.

Was told to make a paper airplane with the gift certificate I attempted to use. He refused to even look at it and demanded I give him my credit card. Was very standoffish, also gave me the wrong truck at first. Was a terrible experience. I would never recommend it.Dustin K.

The location was good; however, we had to drive 2.5 hours from where we had reserved the vehicle and originally scheduled the vehicle to be picked up. This was incredibly inconvenient while trying to get everything else ready to move seeing as it took almost 6 hours during a work day to accomplish what should have been a 30 minute task. Additionally, while miles were not counted against us, we had to pay for the fuel to move the vehicle into the right area.Eric R.
This whole trip was a disaster but none of it was the gentlemanâ€˜s fault in Watford city. Uhaul either needs to get more trucks or coordinate their stuff better I was told that I didn't even have a truck at all a day and a half before. I had it scheduled to pick up and I made my reservation three weeks in a Advance.Brian L.

It was disappointing that we reserved a 15' truck to pick up in Williston where we live a month in advance of needing the truck, but were not told until the day before we were supposed to get the truck that (1) we had to drive to Watford City, a city about 40 miles away to pick up a truck and (2) we did not get the size truck we reserved. After driving to Watford City to get the truck and back to Williston, we then drove to u-haul locations in Williston and found plenty of trucks just sitting in the parking lot. In addition, the windows of the truck we picked up in Watford City were filthy. Very friendly service person in Watford City.Paul P.

My reservation was for 8:30 am because that's what the website says and I got to town and nobody was there and I called him and he answered the phone and said he didn't open until nine and he will see me at nine. Once I got there he was very rude and honestly I had already had a horrible experience because I reserved my truck and trailer from the Minot location and found out two days prior that they didn't have my equipment so after driving two hours to work for the city and then having to drive back to Minot I couldn't believe when the gentleman in Watford city treated me so rudely and he was going to make me hook up my SUV and the trailer which I had no clue how to do. Brad and sell mine at U-Haul assured me that it would be done for me at this gentleman in one per city claims that he didn't even get my reservation until that morning That I picked it up. I ended up spending $150 extra in gas having to drive to Woodford city and then back to Minot before I could even start my 600 miles to Saint Paul Minnesota. I guess next time I will learn to read the disclaimer which is unfortunate when you are planning your life around a move and have a job waiting for you in the home to get to and also a Home to be out of. You have really needs to get their stuff together becauseI have had a lot of people talk badly about them and tell me their horrible experiences after what happened to me.Terri T.

Recommend because it's the only rental facility within 40 miles of watford city. The guy that runs it was rude and had no clue how to even get my card to swipe for payment. It took over an hour just to pick up the truck.MARK E.
