I reserved a utility dollie along with an appliance dollies. Only the appliance dollie was available. I have also not seen an itemized final invoice, although the charge has posted for $40 or so more than the estimate at pickup. I tried to return the truck after hours and I could not get the app to work so I left the truck and brought the key back the next morning rather than be charged $20 fee. The fee seems to be excessive being the app wouldn't work. I had to make a second trip to the office to return the key.Robert J.

A Uhaul representative attached the trailer to our car. Apparently they did not do it properly since the trailer came off the car while driving and damaged our vehicle. Luckily my husband was able to get the trailer back on the ball and continue but it had broken the electrical connection so there were no lights on the trailer for the remainder of the trip and now I have a big hole in the back of my car. Would NOT recommend U-Haul at all!! 1. There was no way to pick up my rental truck after hours because the location had no way to leave the key in a secure location for me to pick up when they weren't there. So, I had to leave work early, which was a real inconvenience to my boss!!!! So why did you take my reservation in this case? IDIOTS! Nobody called to let me know this, so if I hadn't called to confirm my reservation, I would have arrived to find there was no truck for me!!! 2. Upon return of the truck, you charged me $10 for CDW, which I DECLINED when I reserved the cargo van. I disputed this charge, and you put the $10 on my card anyway. When I arrived to pick up my truck, furniture pads, and appliance dolly, I found out that those items were not available at the location. I reserved everything in person at this location a week in advance, I stoped in to pick up boxes 4 days in advance and I confirmed the pickup date, time and location. When I arrived, none of the items were there, but were at another location 20 minutes away. I already had load/unload help scheduled to arrive within 30 minutes, so I had to rent a smaller truck, that did not have an appliance dolly, and only had half of the furniture pads I had reserved. This was not a good experience.William A.

This was my first time ever renting a UHAUL. I had a really great experience. Even though the manager had accidentally double booked a reservation, which caused me to get a particular size Uhaul that another customer desperately needed, after I decided to take the bigger size so that he could have mine, the employee quoted me for the smaller size as a courtesy. Everything was explained well to me. Their check in and check out proces is very well thought out and straight to the point. So easy and simple to use. I have used UHAUL several times over the past few years. My daughters have attended college out of state so moving households was needed. Of all the rentals I have needed this location by far exceeded the standards of other locations (rented in AL, MS, MO). They provided great customer service and I have zero complaints. Unlike many locations they actually answer the phone and are friendly, courteous, and very professional. Highly recommend !!!James A.
This facility, much like the one located at Woodmen/I-25 in Colo. Spgs., CO, is the best of America. The employees are hard workers who seem to have maintained their civic sensibilities. Kudos to corporate HR. Melissa is beyond phenomenal. She's a keeper! Have interacted MANY times and she has a consistency that is impossible to purchase. The cost is prohibitive. We were able to get a 5x10 (not quite as big as our 8x10 but adequate for our needs) for less than half the price that you guys charge. When I signed up they had buy one month get one free month ,However they billed my credit card for the second month so I wound up with a third month although I didn’t need it. There was a cat locked in the facility I know from the Sunday that I called and First reported it to the next Wednesday I believe before they got the cat out, my clothes smell like cat everything in my storage smells like cat .I Spent $218 dry cleaning some of my clothes, Another $75 washing all my comforters and blankets at a laundromat, so no I was not very happy when I was told that they would not help cover the expenses from the cat smell on everybody’s clothing and merchandise. Numerous times I couldn’t get into my unit because the doors would not work ,there were three doors in my building and I have to play multiple-choice and hope that one of them won’t be open, one night I couldn’t get any of them open.There is no way to contact anybody there’s no phone number listed anywhere to call in case of emergency I think it would be better managed. They definitely need somebody on call 24 seven for situations like the cat in the storage that could’ve been taken out on a Sunday if somebody could’ve been reached, I have also been there on numerous occasions while people were there to get into their storage unit that were never given an access code thank God one of them was in my building and I was able to give him mine, and also times when people just got there with the U-Haul can’t get in the building and somebody there at one time trying to return the U-Haul.I would suggest a number provided for 24 hour emergency service to help solve situation like this I still can smell cat on my things and I won’t take them in my house I have them in my garage because I don’t want my house smelling like cat and I am doing everything I can to get the odor out I understand they pressed charges against the people that left the cat there but that doesn’t do anything to help those of us that have to suffer from the smell of their cat ,and my dog goes ballistic in my garage searching for that said cat,!Sorry to rant but had they not charged me for the second month when it was supposed to been free I would not have been there for the cat situation instead $249 I guess for one more months rent and the Fact that I had to spend another $370 on dry cleaning and laundromat I’m not very happy, I have a simple job I clean houses for a living my income is not steady and I sure wasn’t expecting extra expenses,When they drafted my account that second month for the payment when it was supposed to be free I had three things that didn’t clear the bank so guess what that also incurred more charges another $105, but by the grace of God since I’ve never ever bounced a check I went and talked to them at the bank and they were able to rectify the situation but I had to miss a days work to go take care of that and borrow money from a friend to put money in the bank so that it wouldn’t happen on another check that I wrote.They never offered to credit my account when I found out they charged the second month they just told me my next month would be free and they blocked out my credit card on their computer so it couldn’t accidentally be charged, when I asked what they were going to do to accommodate people for the cat situation nothing unless you had insurance,Who would ever think they would need insurance because Someone locked a cat up in a storage unit for a week, what are the odds of that happening but once again nothing was offered with assistance due to the odor of the cat all of my clothing and personal belongings I guess my definition of climate control is not an 85° storage unit but most of the times that’s what the readings were on the thermostats I know it’s even hotter than that in the storage units. Other climate control units that I have rented they were always Anywhere between 72 and 76° depending on how often the door had been open And there was no adequate lighting to see was at night there were no lighting available in any of the units 10x20 It gets pretty dark in there there weren’t even any available outlets on the exterior walls to maybe run an extension cord for a small lamp so maybe you could see,I don’t know maybe the rules varies state to state this is the first time ever I’ve rented one where it was so hot, No assistance from any employee when needed and there was no power source whatsoever once you got inside the building that’s definitely a first.
