Dropping off the truck has been a nightmare. Location is in a valley with no cell service. The after hours box has a message to the customers that's not legible, so no idea what that even. I was unable return my truck through the app or uhaul website because of no cell service. I took pictures of my own, stuck the keys and contract in the box and hoped for the best.
KIMBERLY CThe mobile process is new but convenient as long as you have a good signal. Truck was in good condition, but there was no dolly in truck that I rented.
Brian BRenting from U-Haul was a terrible experience! Originally I was to pick up the truck in Columbiana at 9:00am (this was guaranteed). Then the day before I was to get the truck, I received a text telling me the pickup location was now in Calera. Upon arriving at this location, business was closed and I was not able to use the App to get access to the vehicle key (the App stated that I did not have a reservation). After a half hour call to the regional support, I was directed to go to Chelsea ( over 20 miles away) to pick up truck from that location. Once at this location, it took me about a half hour to use the App process to get the vehicle key. Finally got on the road with the truck at 11:06 am. This ordeal was more than frustrating! I will never consider using U-Haul again!
Thomas MIt is not lit at night at all. Super dark. Horrible cell service and guest WiFi for mobile check in. Not a good experience. I also ordered 2 furniture dolly’s and a utility dolly and I didn’t get any but was charged for them. I called and was then told that that location does not offer them. Was told I could go to another location to pick them up. But come on!!! It’s principal here. Horrible experience and will not use U-Haul again.
Shanda E24:7 location where there is no internet so you can’t communicate to get your code to get a truck No office, we stood around 40 min . Thank God a man came by that knew the owner and called him He helped us get the truck This place needs to close down!
Patricia HThis was one of the worst customer experiences ever! Mainly because the 1st place did not have the reserved equipment and when at the 2nd place, the app didn't work until many many attempts ...all while my movers were getting paid to wait for me. Just an awful experience and I don't think I'll use the truck share thing again. I might just use a local rental place to be honest.
Greg MI did not realize it was an online pickup. It was very confusing due to lack of cell service in the area! I was unable to retrieve my pads or dolly. I was barely able to get the lock box open. I am due a refund for 1 dozen pads and a dolly!

Hannah WCell service was so poor checking in and checking out was a painful endeavor. Tried to connect to the guest wifi if it can be called that. It was about as fast as dial up so that wasn't a help. Enhance wifi and put sign up for customers to make checking in far more pleasurable.
Jeremy MWe called the number given to us on the paperwork, when we turned in the truck to a destination that was closed both times. The lady told me everything was taken care of. We put the keys in the designated box, the next day I got a call asking if I had turned the truck in and where I turned it in. Your system sucks! I’m done!
Synobia HLocation was clean and easy to find. This is a mobile pickup location, however the location has wifi and the process was easy
Hannah WThe reason I wouldn’t recommend this location is that it took over 30-40 minutes to complete the drop off. The office was closed so I had to use the U-Haul app to complete the drop off, and it took over 10 minutes to upload wack set of photos. The location offers a guest WiFi to help, but the range doesn’t extent past the front door of the office.
James HThe Wi-Fi is horrible which makes the app impossible and there’s no voicemail set-up at the location to contact someone.
Michelle DWrong name on location, no one present despite posted hours, when you call the posted number they tell you have to call another number and they cant help, when you call that number...multiple days and times no one answers and finally, no one tells you that it's some kind of auto drop off. To top it off, i was told to download the app to check it out myself and I could be charged an "after hours fee" because they choose not to be there during posted hours...are you kidding? I would love to hear from some outside of customer service such as the Area Ops rep over the liscesed location from corporate.

Jon KThis location avoided us and would not come out to unhook the trailer. After getting someone else to unhook, 2 men came out of the facility and jumped in vehicles and took off. This was at 10:30am.

steve mThe posted store hours were that they were open until noon. We arrived at about 10:30 and it was closed. We tried to perform an online return but had issues due to very poor cellular service at the location. Once we had driven back to where there was service we could not compete the return because we were not in the correct geographic location. In the future I will make sure to return at an open facility. I do NOT recommend this location to anyone under any circumstances.
Stephanie KOffice was closed at noon on a monday when the posted hours that day were 9-4. No cell phone coverage to do the online checkout..... Terrible.
Stephen TWhen we rented the trailer, there was a representative who had a jack and hooked up our trailer. We were not told that that location was changing to self service only over the weekend. We made 2 trips back to return the trailer, as no one was there to check us in, or to provide a jack to unhood the trailer. The second trip we brought our own jack and there was still no one there, so we left it. I made several calls to make sure it got checked in. The phone on the order was never answered (several attempts). The message directed me to another number. I tried it and voice mail was not set up for it. I made several calls to national and finally was directed to regional office. Made 3 calls to Regional office before I was finally assured the trailer had been checked in and I was not charged for any extra days. During the trip we had a blow out on the tire. I am not sure the tires were inspected before we left. As we left the dealer at the start of our trip, the trailer was bumping up and down when we went between 20-30 mph. We figured it was just the tires had been sitting and needed to warm up. Apparently we were wrong as we had a blow out on Sunday evening, putting us 3 hours behind schedule.
Vicky MI arrived at the facility at 8:00 to drop off and it didn’t open until 9:00. I waited in the lot until after 9:00 and still no one showed. I finally figured out that I could return the trailer online but I’m my wait time for someone to arrive at the office I was assessed a late charge. So, I definitely would not recommend this site.
MOSES FJust average. Fold up the blankets when I pick up if you expect them folded upon return.
Michael KTruck was double booked. Took over an hour to get another truck which onlyj occurred after talking to 3 people. App was difficult to navigate. Made me start over 3 times on return process. Every time I use U-Haul app to reserve a truck bad things happen. Will not do it again.

James SLocation was unmanned with very poor Wi-Fi which made the necessary online check in and drop off very difficult with the gpa locator portion. Also, reserved moving blankets and there were none, truck had 80k miles on it and road like it had 300k. Very disappointed with online process it made a stressful situation of moving way more stressful

Joseph JThe cell reception was HORRIBLE at this location. It took forever to pick up and drop off. After each picture we had to drive up the road to upload. Location is amazing, cell signal horrible and bad enough to not rent here again. Recommend public wifi.
Charles MMy reservation was for 8:30, I was not able to depart until almost 10. This is not a good way to start your move. After calling 800 number, the representative said this location was not a 24/7 Self Serve location when it has been for years. Thankfully the area manager showed up to help.
Marvin FLocation was 40 total miles from quote pickup/drop-off location. Lock Box was not used, key was in back of truck. Cell service was spotty took multiple tries to check-in/drop-off and still wasn't sure it was completed. But the Truck looked and performed very good.

Brandy MUltimate nitpick, but the drop box for returned keys is quite small and takes some work to get the keys in there. Although I’m sure the narrow slots are for security reasons. Overall a fantastic experience thank you.

JEANELLE DPassenger side Mirror was missing. Broken plastic pieces were on the floor of the storage area of truck. I reported the mirror issue to the manager and was told it was legal to operate with only 1 outside mirrow and that he had reported the issue to U Haul and was waiting on someone to come out and make repairs.
