janet rMake sure the inside of the trailer is cleaned out and doesn't smell. But most importantly that the wheels are secure and nothing is going to break. Something underneath of our trailer broke I can't remember what it's called but our trailer was tilted and the tire was rubbing. Causing us to have to buy some rachet straps to put it up because of the tire rubbing. Our drive took us 13hrs instead of 11hrs. Not a good not a good experience I was very concerned of our safety and breaking down late at night.

Wilmer MCheck me in when I come in. Not just blow me off when I come in saying I would get an email. The email has me checking in at 7pm the time they close, when I dropped it about 6:06pm, Customer service is key! Didn’t feel well taking care of.

Aljeandro BSo I rented a U-Haul for a Day. We get there to pick it up and the lady said that the last customer didn’t put gas and that she wasn’t able to put in gas or whatever. But that if we wanted we could put gas and that U-Haul would credit us $28 dollar of gas if we put gas. It doesn’t make sense because she charged us $86 dollars and we were only suppose to pay $58 dollars and she charge us the $28 dollars of gas too. Besides we still have to put gas because the truck was close to empty we wouldn’t make it anywhere. I think we should get our $28 dollar back because it’s not our fault that she didn’t fill up the gas tank before anyone rented it out.

william GCoverage was added to my bill when I declined all coverage when setting up my reservation. When I brought it up to the worker at the location I dropped the truck off at, they told me I needed to contact UHAUL directly, and they couldn't help. I would also like true price transparency. When I made my reservation, I was quoted $41. When I got to the UHUAL, it had $19.99 advertised all over the truck. My final bill ended up being around $90. I used the truck for 2 hours and in all honesty, will probably not be using UHAUL in the future for any needs due to outrageous pricing and poor customer service system. The workers at the UHAUL location should be able to help me in person instead of me having to leave and call a different person. I will say the ladies at the business I picked the truck up from and dropped back off at were very nice, just could not really help.
Brittany WNice employee but the truck was smoking from the exhaust most of the 2 days and the check engine light was on the entire time. I was told it was due to needing a new gas cap & hasn’t been driven in a while. I will never rent from this place again.

Tory ELocation was very convenient. Like that UHaul works with small business to help provide other alternative routes for income for them. The ladies at this location were very friendly and helpful in ensuring I didn’t get charged extra.

Evan AThe truck's cab was dirty, frame where the bumper mounted bent. The manager's shifty amount was much different from the online quote. We were charged for a dolly that we did not use, which was still connected to the UHAUL security strap, and the pads were still closed with the security strap. we were charged for every mile normally the first 25 or 50 miles come with the rental at no charge.
Clinton SThe trailer I rented had packing tape around the electric wires, the driver side lights didn't work the tire blew out about 3 hours into my trip, and the Uhaul app could not pinpoint my location. I made my 7 hour trip but it was at at all a good experience.

Lino SI reserved a certain size of truck. They didn't have that size, and couldn't get it for my schedule pickup time (they could get it later in the day, but that wouldn't help me with the movers I had scheduled). Charged me for a larger truck than I needed, no ability to to get the rate I booked for the original truck. Blamed UHaul policy. I'm sure it is UHaul's policy, but the location made it my problem (and more expensive), hence the low rating. Using Penske or literally anybody else next time.

Gabriel WI had to jump start the vehicle twice and when I brought it back with the gas under the level it “should” have been, they charged by the book. Super unhappy with this experience, may be the last time I book a U-Haul.
Brian LI was charged for a dolly I didn't use, even had my own. Also charged for a cleaning fee, but the lady couldn't provide before pictures. I'm not saying there was some dirt, but there was prior and I left no trash or any mess, yet was charged extra for it. I even brought it back with extra gas and 4 hours prior to it being due.
