Maurice HThe day before pick-up I was informed that the pick-up location established by the reservation was not available. Another site 6 miles away was proposed, but I was soon told that site was not available. Then told I could pick-up a much larger truck 15 miles away. For multiple reasons that was not feasible. After a few calls the right truck was located 35 miles away in basically a field. Given poor cell phone reception it took us 45 minutes to achieve authority, after multiple calls Primarily on our insistence it was done by call phone rather than thru U-Haul app. This requirement that businesses think we want apps on our phones, that we have to have accounts is maddening. Then at drop-off u-haul tried to defraud me the value of 6+ gallons of fuel, despite the fact I turned in the truck one day ahead and that fuel gauge matched that at the point of pick-up. Based on our experience we will never rent a u-hall truck again.

Jeff LOur truck was not ready for 6am pickup but was not scheduled appropriately. Had to wait 45 minutes to get truck after arrival bc provider was on the phone, attempting to arrange pickup, etc. couldn’t find a pen to sign contract. Not to mention the online / phone scheduling failed. Multiple customer service reps on phone assured me pick up would be ready and was. It even scheduled after I called 3 times
Daniel OMy complaint isn't with either the pick up or the drop off locations. My complaint is that I busted my tail getting the trailer turned in within 24 hours so you would have it available for another customer and I was told that I would get a refund. Neither apparently was correct. I will not recommend Uhaul to friends who have to travel out of town. My trip was only 5 hours away..don't need two days to go 5 hours away

Hollis HSeymor went far above and beyond expectations not only in helping determine what equipment we needed, but also arranged for getting the trailer we needed from another location to go with the truck we were renting from him. He even stayed open late while the trailer was being moved from the other site to his to try to make sure everything was right. I'm sorry I didn't get his last name.
