I was charged for extra insurance fee upon return that I declined when booking. The trailer brakes were also not working which is a safety concern.

This was one of the worst places I’ve had to deal with. I made my reservation online, completed all of the pick up and verification processes online before picking up, and when I went to grab the keys from the guy at the counter, he changed my entire uhaul order making it two days longer than I needed, changed the drop off location to somewhere I did not approve of, and then slipped me a paper to sign really quick. Thankfully I over looked it and noticed he some how managed to charge my card $144 on top of the Uhaul charge from the online rental I completed. He then proceeded to tell me he couldn’t change anything and that I’d be refunded. Upon calling the Uhaul for clarification because something did not seem right, I was correct. Had I not called, this gentleman at the counter would have over charged me $144 without my permission. After working with the actual Uhaul company over the phone and getting everything taken care of, the man still refused to hand me the keys and took another 5-10 minutes looking things over on the computer. In total it took me over an hour at this location dealing with poor customer service and a business man who tried to scam me out of my money. Do NOT use this location.
Kendra MRy at the Kent/Tukwila location was so nice and personable. I had so much anxiety thinking the process getting to my unit would be so hard. Ry helped from beginning to end. Even assisted me ina upgrade to a bigger unit. Made my experience so easy and for that alone I would recommend Publc Storage to anyone looking for a storage.
Serea LThe minimart guy couldn't print out a receipt and had trouble getting the computer to work, so I didn't know about the extra mileage cost, which I was informed via phone call that I had to return it to another location, thus the extra mileage because I couldn't find it at first. The return process was complicated for afterhours return to save a charge of $20. So it ended up costing an additional $40 that I was unaware of. The gas tank was only 1/2 full when I picked it up. There was a little debri (maybe crumbled foam of food) in the back of the truck when I picked it up. Only two trucks in the minimart parking lot.
Michelle MThere was not nearly enough of a warning that “checking in with the app” would mean I am going to some random fucking place in the middle of of skyway to leave my car there for god knows how long. The location also just did not provide nearly the same level of service as a regular U-Haul place. It’s not the locations fault it’s that this is kind of a stupid idea. It’s not like limebike where no one cares about the bike, the hoops me and the guy had to jump through to do this was a waste of time. I paid over 100 dollars for this stupid idea and if this is what U-Haul is in the future I’m never using it again.
