Sketchy location, no one was there, dropped off the truck and put the keys in the lock box. Our contract was from Oct 30th-Nov 1st, dropped off the truck on Nov 1st as agreed, got charged 140$. Then later on Nov 4th got charged again for 292$ saying we had it for an additional 4 days which we did not. These people have no idea what they’re doing…WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM OR GIVING THEM YOUR DEBIT CARD INFO…

No one is there during the hours listed to drop off the U-Haul. The business is not in a good location of Denver. No one answers the phone or returns multiple messages. Would not recommend using this location. I was told on the phone that early return results in a credit which we did not receive.

Eric QThe location itself did not look like a U-Haul center. There was little to no signage indicating where we were or where to go. It felt more like a local mechanic's shop way off the beaten path. While the service there seemed genuine and friendly, we were underwhelmed by the location and lack of signage. Furthermore, since they were not an actual U-Haul store, they didn't have equipment and supplies we were hoping to find (boxes, tape, locks, and even blankets we had ordered ahead of time).

An hour later I get an invoice saying the gas was returned low which was incorrect. I didn’t think i would need to take a picture of the gas guage before i returned it. Extremely unhappy with this location
RYAN CI arrived five minutes early to my scheduled appointment time at noon, and found the door to be locked. I then had to reach out and call to ask about my appointment, to which I was told to wait 5 minutes. I waited a total of maybe 10-15 minutes, this wasn't an awful wait but it didn't feel as if my time was respected. I would hope in the future that there would be someone ready at the expected appointment time to greet me, especially considering that my trip with uHaul was an extensive one (therefore quite expensive). I would also like to mention that there was trash found visible in the front of the uHaul I rented. I didn't state this on the survey provided when I picked up the truck because it only took a minute to clean, and I didn't want any further time wasted on explaining the state of the truck when I had a 25+ hour drive ahead of me. While none of these issues caused much grief for the move as a whole, it just felt unprofessional coming from such a well known company as uHaul.

Becca MJosh was.nice but did not bother to make certain that our car was properly strapped down to the trailer. He explained it but didn’t DO it thus it was dangerous and 300 miles later 2 truckers noticed it and strapped it down properly. This was at the South Santa Fe location. It wasn’t his fault. He was overwhelmed with people. The Garrden Lane pick up of the truck itself earlier in the day was ok. But the trailer pickup ws bad as described above.

Signage in the app and photos were outdated… garage pictured in the photo was either the wrong garage or outdated photo. Car parked a block away from keypad and not in the spot it was described it. Took me 30 min to figure it all out.

Nathan OThe Uhaul truck I received, that I was notified was "inspected" by Uhaul, had a hole in the fuel tank. 800 miles into my cross country trip, I noticed the puddle of gasoline under the vehicle. I was told to call the national Uhaul number 1800-468-4285 to submit my complaint. I then received a $150.00 refund for undisclosed reasons, despite having spent over $500 EXTRA dollars in gasoline on top of the cost to fuel the truck for the trip. The LOCATION of the Uhaul was difficult to find, after I went to the Uhaul on my registration I was sent to this location. The Uhaul on the registration declined having the equipment I needed for the move. They offered no support to find the location and an incorrect address. All of this was reported to the receiving Uhaul facility in Philadelphia.

Reminded me of an uncle I have. U-Haul isn’t exactly in the business of building relationships as you are probably one and done, but this guy has it. Thanks from a Texan that needs to get a Coloradan licenses, one day!

NESTOR AIt was hard to find. The truck we rented was not on location. We had to drive to another street to pick the truck up. The wiper blade on the passenger's side was loose and almost came off during our long drive from Denver, CO to Dallas, TX. We were also never given a document to annotate the damage to the truck. We had to call the place back to make sure we were not charged for any of the previous damage. At the last minute our original pick up place was changed to the secluded, off-site place because the truck we needed to rent was not on the original booking site and it was further away from where we originally scheduled the pick up.

I asked him if I could drop my truck off at his location and never did he mention it would cost me an additional $280. He shouldn’t be a business owner. He doesn’t understand what the word ethics means. If he had any dignity he would refund what he stole from me. Don’t go near him. I’ve already reported him to the BBB.

Mike JI received texts and phone calls from the personnel from this location, and he was very informative and polite. He told us that if no personnel was present, we could return the vehicle, drop the keys and go. However, when we returned the vehicle, and after reading the drop box instructions, we found we could not just drop keys and go. Pictures needed to be taken of the vehicle, odometer readings, gas-gauge readings, etc. had to be provided. Also, we could not park on their property. They did provide a lot where to park, which we could not find. We called and was told to park on the street a block away, which we did. If there was this much information and problem in returning the vehicle, then personnel needed to be present. One of the worst experiences for a vehicle return.

Valda MI had made a reservation for a 15" truck, furniture dolly and 2 sets of furniture pads. I had a few emails from U Haul in the immediate days before the scheduled pick up to confirm the reservation. We got there on the day of the reservation to pick up the truck. We waited in line for 20 minutes. When we go to the front of the line the helper said my truck wasn't there. A couple trucks had broken down and another one hadn't been returned yet. The helper told us the nearest place to pick up the truck, another 20 minutes away. We had no choice but to drive there. It put us behind schedule for moving as we had scheduled helpers on our end. I understand all of that happening, and that's not under anyone's control. I just wish I would have gotten a phone call beforehand stating this, and that I should head to another U Haul place to pick up the truck in the first place. When we went to pick up the truck, the helper there said they didn't have the dolly or pads, and they directed me to another U Haul place to pick those up. We went over there and did that, then went back to the second place to get the truck, to be told that there was a dolly and pads in the back of the truck after all. We went back to the third place to to return their dolly and truck so we wouldn't have to do that at the end of the day after moving and when we are all tired. I asked if we could return the truck to the original place we rented it from as it's very close to home. I was told I could not, so when we returned the truck we had to make the 30 minute drive again to do so.
Angela JThe personnel were friendly, but the location was pretty sketchy. I also experienced an equipment failure during my trip, A fastener for the latch on the back of the trailer broke, allowing one of the doors to fly open. I lost a few items before another driver alerted me to the issue. Fortunately, I was able to find a bolt to re-attach the latch.
