I’ve had the storage unit for probably two years if not more and it started out great. But when I was moving to a half hours away and was packing up some of my unit, not sure if we were able to fit everything in the moving truck, I’m assuming the manager, but I did not catch his name came out and started belittling me about payments. I tried to explain that I don’t know if I’m moving out completely today or what once I know more I will let him know too. That yes I know I was behind on one month rent, but I would get it to him as soon as I can, because I do not like to burn bridges as I told him. He continued to accuse me of not paying and saying things like he will never receive that money. He’s hoping he can believe me, but he really don’t, got upset because he asked if I needed his address to send a check to and I told him no I always pay online after that he stormed off This conversation went on for about five minutes in front of my child and my boyfriend. There was no civil conversation to start out with. It was attack on me the whole conversation. And then that night I received an email stating that my bill was paid off even though I didn’t. I do have screenshots of that email to confirm so I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on while I’m 2 1/2 hours away.
