I've had two experiences with Frank now...well sort of. I rented a Uhaul from his location and from start to finish he was excellent. My wife needed his shoe/foot expertise recently and this is why I'm writing a review. Uhaul rental is one thing but this guy knows his stuff, is personable and compassionate. She's been struggling with bad foot pain and conflicting advice/solutions and today Frank made her feel like someone is listening, understands and can help her. Thanks Frank.

Nothing, customer service was great, knowledgeable and efficient. Our original on-line booking, at another location, did not have our vehicle ready. We were redirected to this location and were set up and on our way very quickly.

I was charged $17.00 for insurance that I stated that I did not want but did not realize until we were on the Ferry home (with the truck) & I was able to look at my emails. The attendant pointed to the spot where I had to check so that I am aware of NOT accepting the Insurance. I feel that I was mislead by the agent who would NOT provide me with a copy of my credit card transaction - he said that they will email a copy to my email address. They are going paperless. $239+5=244.00 plus taxes and unwanted insurance of $17.00 for 47.13 Totaling $291.13 for the use of a 10' Truck (38 km) for same day 8 hrs use.

The dealer said I did not have a reservation. Ge said the reservation was for a Clayton Smith. Instead of saying he would check on-line he just kept reiterating that I had not made a reservation at his location. Also this is a shoe repair

Not related to the location where the vehicle was picked up as the customer service there was quite good and helpful - but I have had difficulty with the U-Haul in general with the scheduling of a rental vehicle - the last couple of times that I have attempted to rent a vehicle I have input a specific location as it is the most cost effective location. Then, what feels like the last minute, the location is changed and I incur additional cost as other planning is required to complete the activities associated with the rental of the vehicle. This is a very frustrating experience.

First time renting a U Haul and the process was incredibly easy. The individual helping answered each question with brevity. If I need a U Haul again this is where I’m going.

The truck order was not there, The manager was just getting out of bed upon arrival (10 am). It took an hour to get the truck due to additional paper work due to having the wrong truck. The manager did manage to adjust costs and get things fixed but I lost an hour moving time. The truck was not clean in the cab (coffee spills, etc.)

Truck was not clean. Whoever had the truck last smoked in it. Also the dolly i ordered as well as the moving blankets I ordered were not with the truck. I had to drive to another location to pick them up and I was shorted 3 blankets and I couldn’t get the dolly. The other thing was my pick up location changed 3 times on the day of pickup.
