Employee did not seem like they knew what they were doing, the experience did not fill me with confidence. They were probably not trained enough, as they were presumably just staff for the convenience store and are not representative of U-Haul. They couldn't answer our questions, their customer service experience was subpar, and their machine was slow (not the employee's fault). They essentially made us do a mobile pick up, as we got texts to links from U-Haul to add a driver and do the inspection, although I specifically did not choose the mobile pickup option since I didn't have data on my phone. The interior of the vehicles were clean but the exteriors were not (bugs splattered on the front), which isn't a big deal. This location would probably be convenient if the customer lived near and didn't mind doing a mobile pickup. It is not the location we picked however, so we had to drive 25 minutes more than we wanted.Ernest Mark H.

There are two young men, the boss is very friendly, he solves problems. the other person is a bit rude, he lacks training, I think it must be due to the stress caused by a new job. In total it is a good place, and they are young people who must be supported. I wish you many successes!!!!Cesar R.
I have dealt with UHaul for years but this time was terrible I booked a 20ft ended up with a 15 ft it went up to Kelowna to move my ex down to Edmonton when I got to the uhaul dealer she said they had switched the pick up to 107 ave because the truck I booked had been stolen although she had the truck backshe couldn't give it to me went down to 107 ave after filling out the paper wor he infoed me it had to be returned in 24 hours I said you got to be kidding I booked a truck in May for return trip I was so mad told him you guys need to get your shit together I left the store got to my car told my son what was going on when the guy came out the side door said he had a truck thats when I found out it was a 15ft and not the 20ft I had booked my ex had to leave thousands of dollars in furniturePatricia S.

This was the worst U-Haul rental experience I have ever had. There was only one person in the store so I had to clean the truck off myself. Then when I returned they refused to come check the odometer or the gas fill level. And of course they charged me extra for fuel even though I had filled up before dropping the truck off. Uhaul has the customer service standards of a state-owned Soviet Union business in 1985. I would never have bothered with them except that I was moving to a rural location so I didn't have much choice. I booked a truck online and selected mobile pickup because I needed to pick it up before the location was open. But when I logged into pick it up, my account was telling me that I needed to wait until the location opened to pick it up. I went anyway on the off chance that I could pick it up. Luckily, the location was open even though it's website said they were closed. But then, even though I had already supposedly paid for everything and done the online check-in process, I had to spend another half hour doing more processing, giving them a scan of my license and paid an extra $40 mystery fee! Bloody annoying. This place is in a super sketchy neighbourhood and their main trade seems to be in bongs and weed. Just what you want to see when you're renting a vehicle from someone! So I rented the truck finally and was driving from Edmonton to Golden, so through the mountains, in the middle of winter. Luckily the roads were good that day because after I arrived I discovered that the tires were as bald as a little old man's head. If there had been snow, I likely wouldn't have made it up the hills and might have been hit by other vehicles. Now I don't blame the guy at the 4Ever convenience store for this - he was probably too high to notice. But someone with less marijuana in their system might have checked this. I'm just completely annoyed and disgusted with Uhaul. What a terrible company. Hire movers if you can, it's not that much more money and you avoid risking your life.Annik F.

You can take 4ever convenience off your list of certified uhual distributors. This place is so unprofessional it gives uhual a really bad look. The uhaul was dirty, had broken glass in it, they didn't put the dollies I paid for in there, and when I needed to come back for help with the uhual they were just randomly closed. So we had to figure out our own dollies. Take their uhuals away from them, this is completely unprofessional.Aaron T.

The rental had A&W napkins in the dash and a piece of gum in the passenger door not chewed, the corner store I picked it up in sold brillow and other Crack smoking utensils. This isn't the worst part once I loaded the vehicle I noticed it leaked all over the driveway of the house I was selling and needless to say all over the place I was moving in to in my experience u haul has the worst customer service but they have monopolized the market I w uld never recommend this company. I'll be sending photos of the transmission leaks and assume nothing will be done about it.Thomas K.

- Have all of the requested and reserved equipment (blankets, dolleys, etc) OR confirm that you cannot provide it so the customer can make other arrangements and not get stuck last-minute. What's the point of reserving it if it's not going to be there? - I was overcharged for gas. Tank was on the low side of 1/4 full with I picked up. I marked the needle position on the gauge with tape, then overfilled past the tape when I re-filled the truck immediately prior to returning it. Was charged a $30 fuel surcharge anyways, with my bill showing the tank lower than it started by an 1/8th. I've worked in rental agencies before and this was ill-prepared and then inconsistently billed. However, I do want to give a special thank-you shout-out to the owner of the store who lent us his personal jumper cables at our request because (according to him) the truck had needed to be jumped at some point earlier in the month and to be aware it might happen again.BRANDON W.

It is a random spot downtown, it's not an actual U-Haul lot. I dropped the U-Haul off at 2pm in perfect condition, sent photos and everything â€¦ by 8pm I was charged with damage due to a tire being slashed â€¦ Don't recommend at all.Danielle K.

It wasn't the locations fault, the uhaul system was down around the city apparently. Which just seems to happen every time I use uhaul, it's funny but also really frustrating. He had to call and get a rep to log us in over the phone even tho we did early check in and that took almost a half hour When we dropped the truck off it was still down so I had to return it over my phone even tho they were still ope.Jared S.

Our pick up time was pushed back half an hour, and we were only given 1 dolly while we had reserved TWO plus a furniture dolly! Huge pain and set back our move a lot, had to rent another dolly and pay movers for an extra hour.Kevin V.

When arriving to collect the rental unit the attendant at this location appeared to be impaired (Stoned/High) and verbal communication was limited. This did not leave a great first impression. I had made the reservation online and included all of my personal information to help limit my time in the store as well as eliminating contact with other while we all navigate a global pandemic. The attendant did something, once he was able to get online, that for some reason he needed both my drivers license and credit card once again. He did not wash his hands, he seemed ill (or coughing from smoking) and I then needed to sanitized my personal items. When we approached the rental truck we notice a significant amount of damage, all of which we documented. The unit was not clean.There was garbage in the cab, no washer fluid, smashed mirrors, and the fuel tank was not full. After we spent time make the vehicle somewhat acceptable we carried on with our day. This process took well over 45 minutes which put us behind in our day. I have rented from uhaul before and had decent experiences... this was appalling. I hope that this feedback can be delivered to the administrators of this location. Our company will think twice before recommending and utilizing your services in the future. The impaired attendant was of great concern - both for our safety, the safety of others, and for your brand. Truly disgraceful.Aaron B.
