Local contact was nice and took care of the problem of wrong truck available and then no truck available. Very disappointed that a truck booked months in advance was not available nor any truck available. Local contact finally found a truck that was in use that she allowed us to take even though it was wrong truck type and not technically available. Kuddos to her but not to Uhaul scheduling not having a truck when needed

My original reservation was sent to Tire King in Statesboro, GA but when I arrived at 9:00 they did not have my truck available. I called U-Haul reservations and was told that location had a undelivered truck and they bumped 2 or 3 people back and my truck would not be ready until 12:00 or 12:30. They advised I would have a $50 voucher due to the error. The other location did not have a 15" truck so I had to take a 20" truck which was more expensive, more difficult to drive and used more fuel. I was instructed to contact u-haul to have my voucher emailed. I assume the voucher is for another rental and if so I have no idea when I could possibly use it??

After I dropped off my 5x8 trailer, the Uhaul dealer assessed me a 90.72 late fee. My contract was extended by three days by the UHUAL RETAIN STORE in California due to the weather (cross-country trip). I left messages for a follow-up call with the Uhaul dealer, but I never heard back. "We are on site assisting customers," as mentioned on a recording, is just not accurate. Return date and time were observed during regular business hours (Mon-Fri). The bar code on the trailer was also invalid. The process was completed once I dialed Uhaul's main number. I would like my card to be credited with $90.72.

This place is only open a few hours every day. Closes at 1 everyday that if they're open at all. Delivered the trailer back at 3:30 pm and they charged my card $20.00 for after hours drop off. Sorry way to do business.

The place was dirty outside and there was no one working. They had put a sign in the window that said back in 15 minutes, but there was someone waiting when I arrived who had been there for nearly an hour, which is why I switched to a mobile return instead of in person.

The trailer only had one usable strap as the other was ripped/torn off. The tire was flat. We were assigned a different trailer that wasn’t even on the lot.

I had to use the U-Haul app for checkin and return, but had hardly any data signal so it took forever and was very frustrating. Also, it rained so after parking I discovered had to walk around the truck to take pictures; there is a ditch at the parking area and it was full of water so my shoes are ruined after standing in several inches of water.

Those who check the fuel gauges of The returned trucks need to give the needle time to go the full distance before doing their readings! We were erroneously charged for gas because someone did not wait for the needle to go all the way so their reading was incorrect Thankfully, another U-Haul employee went behind that person and double checked the gauge for us so that the gasoline charge was removed.

We prepaid. The funds were taken out of my Account. I had to borrow 20 dollars from someone else. The balance was then taken out of the other parties account that had nothing to do with the rental. Also, poorly run. We waited 30 minutes between us paying and someone coming in that could actually give us the key. Then they lost the key, found the key and then called to say they never got the key. Also, we took pics of how much has and the ending miles when we left the truck there is about ,159 miles difference. I think someone there is ripping off the customers. I will bring it before my lawyer and the BBB. THE FUNDS DUE SHOULD NEVER Have BEEN Charged TO THE Credit PARTY p THAT Loaned THE ,10.OO ,AS This Constitutes Fraud. YOU WILL NE HEARING From ME UNLESS YOU RETURN THOSE FUNDS TO Ms Patricia McCormick and rebill the balance to me. Brenda Albanese. ,9126158971. I expect a phone call ASAP or I will file charges.

This may be a U-haul issue and not the retailer's. Having better operable trucks and not keeping the newer one or ones specified for long hauls as in-town moves are just as important, and also more available trucks just in case issues arise with trucks and for walkin customers. The staff were nice and accommodating, so I really don't believe it was there fault. Overall, I got my move completed with hope and a prayer that the truck would not go out on me.

Let's start by saying Tire King is a joke and I would NEVER recommend them. U-haul on Pamela Way bailed me out. I have rented three times from them and will always recommend them over anybody in Statesboro

Lady where we got the U-Haul went far beyond what I have experienced in the past. Even helped me lift up the trailer tongue to hook everything up. Sweet and very helpful!! I wish I could remember her name. If you happen to get this mam’……. I sure do thank you for everything!

Storage Unit was closed prior to our arrival. Manager called, also advising that the spot reserved was not an actual unit. We where able to get another unit in town at a comparable price.
