JESSICA WI was told to go to this location for the truck I reserved. I went a day prior to make sure the size of the truck will work. When I got there, they told me the truck is at another location. Since that location works best, I had to order a different car and cancel the truck. Good thing I went a day ahead to check otherwise I’d be charged for the truck and had to scramble the morning of.

Manolito V1. I made reservation near my home. Less than 12 hours before the pick up time I got a call that the truck is not available and the only option is to get it from a location 50 miles away. As I had movers already scheduled and the place was not opened until 9am I had movers waiting for an hour before I arrive with the truck, casing my to pay them an extra hour. And to add insult to injury I was charged by U-haul for extra miles and had to buy extra gas. 2. I was expecting to get a $180 discount as was the case for my original reservation. Instead I was directed to return the truck to a different location that dis not offer such discount. Overall between all the extras I spent more than $500 in extra charges. I am disappointed as in my past experience U-haul performed much better.

frederick bVehicle was not well maintained. It needed a transmission service as the gears were slipping when trying to accelerate. While it was annoying, it could have been dangerous. Service your trucks.

VICTORIA URenu the agent at the Hayward pick up location was very professional, courteous, friendly, clear and concise. She answered all the questions I had with regard to the rental (ie. how to adjust the mirrors, which lock works best on rear door latch, even showing me how lock the rear door w/ the round lock) and provided priceless tips as to how to drive the vehicle such as using the convex mirror rather than the big flat mirror while driving. I really appreciate Renu for being so knowledgeable and helpful!!!

James MI Have compliments about the A lady named jenny who works with the 800 customer service line, and about the lady who released the rental to me when I picked it up. Jenny answered questions for me and provided good information about 10:45 am on my pick day of 12/19 when I called to ask some questions about another location very close to me. She was friendly, patient, thorough, and clear. The other compliment is for Retu at the A1 Storage location on Whipple Rd in Union City, CA. She is a thoroughly capable, efficient, and pleasant employee and person. So glad to have done business with her. Thank you Uhaul!!
