Check the unit in right away or ask them to wait if with another customer. It took three days for them to call and see if we had dropped the trailer. I am very glad she located it and everything went very well.

That’s the UHAUL that I remember. Clean, helpful, easy honest and respectful. Nothing to be improved! Excellent job. Compare this with the rathole in beautiful Ft. Collins CO. Please get rid of losers and cheaters like PINEDOG AUTOMOTIVE 1000 E LAUREL ST UNIT A FORT COLLINS, CO (970) 495-0089. They don’t belong in UHAUL family. Trust me on this.

U-Haul in MI did not send the correct number of containers. I asked for 8, they sent 6 because ”6 is a truckload “ and charged 2 deliveries when I needed the other 2. They picked up5 when leaving off 2 and gave only 2 days to load “ in order for all 8 could go on the same shipment.” Then they left 6 in Michigan and sent 2 to CO, delaying delivery by 5 days. The staff in Pagosa Springs were extremely helpful in finding the other 6 bins and getting them to CO expediently. They were professional, friendly and amazingly efficient in unloading all 8 bins in 3 hours!! Bravo to Pagosa Springs Affordable Storage!!

We weren't walked around the rentals so we didn't see the existing damage until we turned it in. It wasn't an issue but it did catch me off-guard when we were asked about it. We also weren't told how the days were counted. Logically, it should have been counted every 24 hours, but it isn't. Also, we weren't told that if we were one minute late, we'd be charged for an entire additional day, which is crap.

The very inexperienced Uhaul tech that hooked up the 6x12 trailer to my 2024 GMC Sierra 3500, A: didn't realize there were chocks on the trailer tires so wasted 10 minutes trying to line up the trailer to the hitch-ball until a passer-by pointed this out to him. B: tried repeatedly to insert the red 7-4 pin wiring adapter upside down until I realized the problem and did it for him. C: struggled with the fact that the safety chain holes on the GMC 3500 were to big to accept the UHaul hooks and then ultimately connected the safety chains VERY INADEQUATELY and ineffectively to the point of being extremely dangerous, D: and most IMPORTANTLY, this guy FAILED to screw down the hitch receiver knob AT ALL! All of this ended up in a trailer braking loose from my pickup truck about 2 miles down the road. Thankfully at very low speeds (<20 mph) with no damage to trailer or truck. I can supply photos of the failed hookup if anyone actually reads this and wants to know more.

A bit of a challenge to park a 26 footer in the lot. Then again, I did drop the truck off in the dark, so that didn't help.

The facility is exceptionally protected and I was very pleased with the customer service i received! I had a terrible experience with another storage location in town, so this was a night and day change for me and it was greatly appreciated. They made sure to call if they had any questions. I even booked my trailer with them for my move out of town which obviously made it that much more convenient for my transition out of my storage unit. Thanks guys!

Bailey was very helpful. Bailey also spoke to a UHaul representative by the name of Nicole (a Colorado UHaul Rep I believe and someone that Bailey relies on for help on a regular basis it seemed) on the phone to get our drop off location changed so we didn't have to do it ourselves and she was also very efficient and helpful.

Agency personnel need to learn pricing as she misquoted the expense of one way truck renting. She stated rate was $40:per day plus 79 cents per mile. When i received my online receipt it was several hundred dollars more. I went back in for explanation which she couldn’t give. She called regional office which said quoted rate was for in town, and one way move was a variable rate based upon supply and demand. Nobody addressed my refund claim for false advertising Also, the agency said it was 752 miles to my destination which I said was way high. I’ve driven the route many many times and it is 654 miles. Regardless, UHaul overcharged me. The actual mileage including to drop off location was 665 miles Bottom line. U-Haul agent falsely stated a rate to me; and overcharged the mileage

After losing my father last year we needed a quick and Hassel free facility to store some of his things. This storage company in Pagosa made it easy for me to rent a unit over the phone. Timing was important because we were not had so much time before our friend who helped out had to return home. The ease of access through the gates entrance via the keypad made it easy to come and go on our time schedule. The unit was clean and we'll maintained even in the middle of record snow storms. Affordable storage is the best place I’ve ever found. The owners really care. And your stuff is safe. I’ve had five storage units in the last year. And every transaction was perfect.! Tamra is my go to for everything. She is the finest at what she does. And Rick and Cindy know that and take great care of her! You don’t have to worry about your things being damaged or stolen. They have great security! Tamra has gone above and beyond to help me get a storage container several times in an emergency situation. Professional and very personable, ANY business would be thrilled to have Tamra on their team.Thank you Tamra for all your help, kindness and humor! One night last year I needed to get in my storage and there was ice everywhere.. After working on it for a little bit, this is at night, A truck pulled up and said do you need help. The owner’s Jeff and Cindy saw me on their cameras, I think they were just making a check that everything was OK. I told him yes I just need to get in to my storage. That’s when Jeff got out of his truck and helped me clear the ice to get to my container. I would say this was well above and beyond what I signed up for when I got my storage unit. Absolutely superb, well-maintained facility! Staff was excellent. One glitch - no way to contact owners or staff with an after hours or weekend emergency. Owner extremely belligerent, rude and discourteous when contact attempted at his home near the facility. Almost terminated yearly rental at thst time.
