I called at about 7:15pm after-hours on June 12th and spoke with a woman for 4 minutes as I explained to her I hadn't used my spot since Christmas of 2024, but kept forgetting to cancel. -She said she would cancel it that evening. I called back July 10th after receiving an email that said I was late on a payment, and then noticed A-Affordable Storage re-added my credit card nearly a month after cancelling and charged me another month plus a $20 late fee. But when I spoke to someone on Friday she said I never called—despite my own phone records and the fact that A-Affordable, not me, removed my autopay on June 12th when I called. After speaking with A-Affordable Storage this past Friday I put a block on my credit card, and had I not received this confirmation today I was set to send my notes and call logs to my credit card company to file a fraudulent charge dispute in order to ensure they couldn't re-add my information again. ~$75 was essentially stolen from me on July 9th when my card was billed without consent. They were once kind and professional, and I would call when I needed advice on who to enlist for help around town when I needed to get things done. But knowing that they had to manually re-add my credit card in order to charge it after I canceled in June, and then told me they had no record of my call—no sir, I could not in good conscience recommend A-Affordable Storage, to anyone.
