Thomas E.The location was absolutely fine. What was not, was my set up in order to rent the truck. I had to sit for 30 minutes on hold until I could get a hold of someone in customer service. I arrived earlier, but it was still cutting into my rental time. I needed to get in contact with someone because my set up wasn't completed correctly on the U-Haul side. The woman I spoke with mentioned it was something as simple as clicking a button. I will never be using a remote location again because I do not trust set up will be completed and given demand, there could be a long hold line. I wouldn't be opposed to switching to a home depot or lowes as they have more locations.

They were closed at 3:30 in the afternoon when we dropped it off. There was no way to drop the van off without a contract number, I spend 45 minutes on the phone trying to drop it off. Terrible experience

Ashley T.I have booked a rental in my area which was Bloomingdale IL, but instead uhaul gave me a pickup location which was almost 13 miles away from my location. I ended paying extra money for the miles i put on the truck in order to pick up and drop off rental from uhaul location.

The guy doing most of the hard labor outside came in twice to do her work for her. She was slow and copped an attitude with the people who called in on the business phone. Terrible. So terrible. Never again will I use U-Haul because of this location.

Contact your customers with a text, call, or email to let them know where specifically to pick up their truck!

Kathryn M.Absolutely the worst rental truck I have ever experienced. 114,000 miles. This truck was UNSAFE and needs to be taken out of service. On the highway any speed above 45 sent the truck into a rattle and shake that jarred the bones. The truck floated all over the road. The breaks squealed and the truck was dirty. In addition the latch got jammed when in the up position and took over an hour to fix. The worst rental experience ever. Needless to say I will not be using your company again.

Ronald C.This was not my preferred location chosen as I had limitations to later evening hours to pick up the vehicle for the move. I was disappointed that I was not notified until the day prior that I would not be able to pick up the truck as requested on Tuesday evening. I also chose a location that I could walk to as I am a single person. And the alternate location was a 15 minute drive away. Not ideal as I had to make alternate arrangements last minute to get the vehicle and a ride to it. Very inconvenient since I then also had to delay my hired moving help at the last minute then too since I couldn't get the truck until the next morning! The vehicle was fine, reasonably clean. The furniture pads that I rented (7 dozen of them) were mostly wet! 2 dozen of them were not usable as they were also moldy and several looked like someone had thrown up on them. Very disappointing since I was on a tight schedule to get things done and already delayed because of the change in pick up location and time (moved from Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning). Seems the convenience was to the UHaul company and not the customer. A comment for UHaul website....... I rented a 20' Truck which is described as being able to hold a 2-3 bedroom home worth of stuff. I had a 700 sq ft apartment with no appliances (a 1 bedroom). It did NOT all fit into the truck. My apartment was not full and had an average amount of furniture in it. Extremely stressful on packing day. And I had professional movers packing the truck for me and it was packed SOLID to the very top and sides. Every available space in it was tightly used. Also, you should make it very clear on your website that your trucks are NOT waterproof and only water resistant. A lot of my heirloom, solid wood furniture got wet (even though packed really well in blankets and shrink wrap from top to bottom) during the cross country trip due to rain that we got hit with on the drive through the mountains.
